Camera mount for a track day
Discussion
Folks,
I've had a good trawl through the forums, but can't find any suggestions for a camera mount on a Mk2 Tuscan for a track day that doesn't allow suction mounts.
A lot of people seem to be using headrest mounts, but as the Tuscan seats don't have any adjustable headrest bars I don't think this will work. I'm planning to mount a GoPro Hero 4 and an iPhone, so something that would allow a couple of devices to be mounted would be good, but it needs to be something that fixes securely (without me having to drill any holes!!).
Anyone got any suggestions?

Only the standard stuff in the Tuscan, so while there is a roll cage, it's part of the rear window surround and so there isn't a gap between it and the bodywork that covers it. TBH, if I could find something that would wrap around the whole thing without damaging the paint or the bodywork I'd probably go for that, but nothing found so far
The retaining bar thing is a good idea. This one looks pretty solid https://www.amazon.co.uk/Milenco-CARAVAN-CAMPER-CA... and with that I can mount multiple devices ('cos doing one track day definitely justifies spending several hundred quid on cameras and accessories!!). Hopefully I'll get some good video. Thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming if anyone has any more ideas.

Ps with the Milenco model make sure that you get the correct width as I think I struggled to get a long enough bar and went for the Sealy unit as it comes in various sizes
Good point, I've ordered the one that extends to 1.67M, the gap between the side panels just below the rear quarter lights is 1.33M so hopefully it will be OK. Otherwise I'll mount it against the wheel arch covers. That will make it slightly too low but I have a couple of extension arms that I can use to raise the camera up. I'll post pics once I have the retaining bar.Edited by Cats on Monday 20th June 20:53

Clive F does a harness bar for the Sag that mounts to the upper seat belt mounts. Not sure what changes if any are needed for fitting to a Tuscan.
Suction mounts for gear are pretty much not acceptable on trackdays now.
I think that might be a bit to permanent a feature for me, but if I get the track day bug then maybe I'll look at a multi point harness in the future. One to bear in mind for later Suction mounts for gear are pretty much not acceptable on trackdays now.
