In car stereo advice
Discussion
So I've just bought and fitted a couple of 4" speakers which were recommended as good upgrades to the standard Pioneer units; I've also bought a new pair of tweeters which I've yet to fit. I was looking at upgrading the stereo to a Bluetooth unit, not for phone calls but for music connectivity.
Questions are -
1. Should the tweeters be attached to the stereo unit via the front speaker connectors? (there are no front speakers in the car only the rears beneath the little qtr glass window).
2. What is the inline box connected to the tweeter?
3. Is the present stereo output insufficient for the speakers and will this adversely affect the reproduction?
Below are images of all three current items, any advice from experienced incar boffins most welcome.
Thanks
Richard

Hi Richard
What speakers did you get and are they a marked improvement on the pioneers?
Colin
They are Rockford Fosgate T142, can't say I notice a difference but I wondered if the stereo might be the problem now. Bottom line was initially did not want to spend a lot of cash when I only occasionally listed to music in car. What speakers did you get and are they a marked improvement on the pioneers?
