Rear screen squeak/rattle

On recent test drive, dealer said that the noise I could hear was the rear screen squeaking/rattling and that this could be sorted by a bit of vaseline on the rubber seals. Is this all that is required? or is it soomething more srious?

I presume yet another TVR -type foible..

Thanks guys, it may look a bit dodgy taking a tub of vaseline out to the car!!!
