I'm off to look at a Tuscan this weekend and whilst I'm still able to think with my head and not my heart, what should I look for apart from the usual stuff as I am ploughing through the paperwork.

Are there any obvious upgrade/recalls that should have been carried out and documented by a careful owner. I don't want to go into the engine thing as it's been done to death and I'm well aware of those issues, but I do hear of suspension changes and software changes etc and am a little ignorant of these

Any help would be appreciated as it's a shed load of cash for me to part with (I think my first house was cheaper!)

By the way, its a W reg car, I'm sure that makes a difference, it usually does...

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info Andy, I'll check these out...

Incidently, I just tried to join the yahoo group and frankly it seems beyond me, simple as I am... (I shall try again later)

However it appears there is a Dai Capp already registered, so just in case there have been some dodgy posts, it wasn't me!!

Cheers

TSS said: David,

I did a huge amount of research before buying my Tuscan, including reading all the messages in the Tuscan Owners Yahoo group. I put together an 11 page "Tuscan Checklist" of things to check on any Tuscan you are looking at buying - I don't claim it to be totally comprehensive, but it certainly covers all the common faults and I have tried to keep it up to date with new problems which have occurred on my car. Email me through my profile if you would like a copy.

Tom,

You have mail...

Many thanks
