Well, the weekend's here again, and now that the flying-beasty count is lower, I thought I'd give her a bit of TLC. Having only been a Tuscan owner for a few months, I was just wondering what other people use to make their beast look it's best.

Is it worth polishing a new (ish) car? Will polishing with an abrassive polish (autoglym and the likes) have any positive effect, baring in mind there are (I guess) several layers of laquer before getting to the paint itself? Is wax an option?

She has to be looking her best for the TMS open day, so come on, let me into your secrets! What do you guys n' gals use?

Many thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for for your help!! So there is a benefit to be had in polishing it, despite the layers of laquer.

I agree. The best way to make our cars look good is to drive them, and what a superb chance we all had last weekend. First to the TMS open day, which was great and then to Derby with friends. The best day in my car so far. Magic!!

"Pies", are you out there. And just how do you get such a glassy shine (if you dont mind me asking!!??)

Blimey!
I never realised it was such a science!!! Its a fair point about not washing off the wax thats already on. Sounds like I need to get down the shops (and set aside a day or two!!). Thanks Pies
