That goes without saying - my point was that if I were to expect a reply from said tt I would think addressing him with 'Oi, tt' would probably not be the way to do it. biggrin

Streuth a reply!!

My message read

Dear Hilary,

I have just read a story on a motoring website which is reporting that
you think it is good for us all that the price of petrol and Diesel has
gone up so much!! Are you really that deluded and out of touch with
reality that you think it is good that it now costs me 30% more to
travel to work and back as I have no other means of getting to work
other than my car?? This Labour government and its band of clown MP's
just keep amazing me with their levels of ineptitude and how out of
touch they really are with the ordinary people of this country. The
sooner you realise that your govenrment isn't upto the job of governing
this country and leave the better, I have never and never will vote for
labour, as without fail they always manage to cock the economy up!!
Gordon has proved himself to be no exception! Leave and Leave now

"continue to help hard-pressed families who are facing high fuel bills and high food prices because of what is happening in every country in the world....

"And in recognition of the problems that people face with petrol, we are freezing the duty of petrol for the full year. And we will bring forward further measures to help families in due course."

They're always going on about families. What is the significance of that when it comes to the price of fuel?

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg said
"You promised to abolish boom and bust. But now we've got both - inflation's booming, the economy's bust."

Mr Brown said employment was at its "highest level ever" according to labour force statistics published on Wednesday and inflation was lower than the rest of Europe and the US."

What good is that if the wages aren't enough to cover the cost of living?

This situation is ridiculous. It's been said before, but if Labour get in again we'll only have ourselves to blame. We need to be prepared to go easy on the next government in their first term and realise it could take time to sort out the mess created by these Labour morons!

Your lucky, I've never had an answer from a Labour MP or from this one so far.
I would guess he is too busy choosing a plasma tv for a new extension on his second home (at our expense) to actually answer himself.

I feel fairly chuffed that my MP said that...

Almost makes me ashamed to have told him to bugger off to his green cave when he knocked on my door...

Almost, but not quite....hehe

yea i kinda agree with that simple fact is if you got thirsty car you'll use more fuel thus pay more tax anyway. Although fuel prices really are a piss take now needs to be under the pound again.

Not sure if this has been mentioned above, but how on earth can they try and sell such a line, when on the other hand they are letting this happen....

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/travel/news/artic...

...and they don't even tax airline fuel. Unbelievable.

What else can we expect from dear Hilary... a red socialist at birth, of course he is gonna hate the private motor car with a passion. Goes against every grain of his outdated Marxist ideals. Funny how Labour always put a staunch commy in charge of the environment dept.

The good thing is that most people are ignoring his ttish comments while they struggle in the pit of insolvency brought about by his tax obsessed leaders.

This article just about sums up the fuel situation at present http://www.driveblogger.com/

Hilary is basically in favor of major economic decline if he supports high fuel costs.... poverty and misery for the people he says he represents.... the muppet should lose his seat for this!

The last time the labour shower of sh*t got in, they left the UK almost completely f*cked, with three day weeks, power cuts, almost continual strikes, raging inflation, job cuts, rising unemployment, and rubbish piling high in the streets. with the UK the laughing stock of the world, with what outsiders called the `English disease'
From this I expect Gordon and T Bliars must have one of Britney Spears numbers as their theme tune! Ooops Iv`e done it again!
As posted before, I dont give a stuff if Donald Duck gets to run the UK, provided he does a half decent job of looking after UK citizens interests, That I regret is the exact opposite of what the shower of sh*t have done to us, since they got in to power 11 years ago. DO they really hate UK citizens so much? or they just TOTALLY incompetent.... Could be a bit of both I guess.

Well, being from Leeds like him, I have just emailed him and told him exactly what I think whilst somehow refraining from throwing any insults, so I hope I get some kind of reply.

I left another message on the useless gimp's website.....not hopeful of a reply, I guess he is planning what to do with the several month summer break he is going to have as a paid public servant.

Great idea to put the numerical question on the website - half of the people wanting to write to you won't be able to add up as labour have screwed the education system up - devious but clever. I wrote earlier in the week regarding your comments on fuel prices and am yet to receive a response. Rather than the usual "comments noted" reply that others seem to have received, I want a full answer to my query on how I am to travel in the course of my business on public transport. Again please don't patronise me by blaming the Tories - after 11 years in power YOUR party are now responsible. I await your reply.
