That reminds me of a chap at a petrol station recently,
Walked up to me and pensively said, lovely car mate but why are Tvr so noisy,,,
I couldn’t think of anything useful so just said because they are fantastic.
He smiled and nodded in agreement

I have loads of people talk to me, or just the old "nice car mate" line when I pull up at petrol stations etc..

Hi Stu,
I've skimmed the thread about Cerbera ownership, and I gather that you're in the north-east. I have quite a few cars scattered around the planet (Aston Martin DB9, a few Ferraris, a few Lancias, and a fast 230 horsepower Fiesta STZ230 in Singapore) and I keep some of them at Hexham (HHC Sportscars) including a 4.5 Cerbera and Griffith 500. The Cerbera, although not my favourite looking car, is far and away the fastest car I have. I can travel from Newcastle to Bowness on Windermere in an hour and 35 minutes across Alston and Shap. It is a blindingly quick car that is easy to drive quickly, I think it has a natural speed of about 90 mph.
I will be back in England about later this month and will be picking up the 4.5 Cerbera from Hexham to drive over the following couple of weeks. If you're anywhere near Hexham (at any time) you should drop in and speak to Tony and Richard at HHC about your search. I have no affiliation with them other than they are straightforward guys who do a good job and don't try and pull the wool over your eyes. Richard, the service manager, really knows his stuff and Tony is one of those rare people who sell cars because they love cars and he likes to see them going to a good home - with the added advantage of the prices are good.
Back on topic, the V8 Cerberas (I have a 4.2 as well), like Nick Coughlan's spaceship interior, are from a different planet from just about any other car on the road and they are certainly the best bang for the buck - I just wish it looked more like a Griffith (I'll have to do something about that...)
Good luck,
Clive Reed (Zertec)

It’s on eBay aswell.
Ask who did the engine rebuild. I can see receipts from Austec and Dream Machines... both outfits that were run by cow boys and ripped people off.
On the pistonheads advert, the rebuild was done by Str8six back in 07. Ask who did the engine rebuild. I can see receipts from Austec and Dream Machines... both outfits that were run by cow boys and ripped people off.

That's great advice many thanks, Clive. I will call in and see the guys I'm only 40 mins or so south from the guys at HHC. I can't agree on the looks mind I think the Cerb is far more handsome than the Griffith. I've skimmed the thread about Cerbera ownership, and I gather that you're in the north-east. I'm in no rush so willing to take my time to find the right car I think I'd prefer to buy from somewhere like HHC for a little piece of mind.
I might take exception at: ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES IN THE UK!
No interior or engine photos?
Video shows a muted interior which works with the plum. I once saw a plum car with deep red interior.
Rear light pod has condensation
Be worth a look, check the usual places for damp etc
