Started putting my handbrake back on, swapped the nylon adjuster for a metal one. Crimped on correctly. New cable. 60p a meter 3mm.

Then looked at my misfiring mini. No compression cylinder 2 so got to take the head off.

But cerbera to finish first.

This weekend, refurbed the drivers door card as it was very grubby, looks like new now.
Drove it to Banbury and back - well we had to go, seemed a shame not to drive it through the cotswolds.

Dropped the engine off at TVR Power to reseal my leaky timing cover and have the obligatory new head gaskets.

How kind is this AJP8 likely to be to me after being rebuilt elsewhere only 7k ago?

Hmmmm.

Scensoredting bricks.

The sun was out, so time to bring the Cerbera out of Winter hibernation and give it a good wash (with the Mrs. car as well)

Not sure that I want to relive it... it's fiendish.
But I did draw the juxtaposition of all the seals, O-rings, bearings, keys etc, it's not that clear in the build manual pics, that should all go in the knowledge vault.
Maybe as it goes back together...

Not the best is it,later this year I plan on replacing the original item with an electric water pump and a Peugeot PS pump.

Yesterday while at the Rutland Rumble the radiator sprang a leak, it is under three years old

New Coils in !

.... and talk about the luck of the ..... (Substitute any nationality that suits you), whilst hacking through to the old coils I managed to stumble on the fact that a rubber heating transfer pipe - which is placed just above the coils - was almost through. Can't imagine the cost, hassle and lost time that would have ensued if I had left that for another 500 miles yikes
Thank You Peter thumbup
