Robsco : you seem to have an opinion ...how did your buy of that 2nd Cerbera go & the Tuscan before that ??? yeah not nice is it, so why from your glass house did join in here attacking this poor blokes car ?
I'm not quite sure what you are asking me, your question makes no sense?I've reread my previous post and nowhere do I attack the chap's car. It seems a nice example, I like the colour combination and it's a Cerbera after all. That said, I see no harm in offering constructive criticism. If I had been trying to sell a car and still hadn't found a buyer in the space of several months, I'd be looking into where I'd gone wrong.
For what it's worth, I sold my Tuscan a couple of years ago. I had previously had the engine rebuilt to "S" specification; Sagaris injectors, increased compression etc etc. Nowhere in my advert did I refer to people who might want to buy a genuine S as "snobs", whether it was my opinion or otherwise. Perhaps that's why it found a new home in Germany in less than two weeks.

Contact Oliver wood (previous owner), he is happy to confirm all. Contact Rob hastings (broganville) who will confirm all also. No skin off my nose. In retrospect would be easier to just call and ask.....
Would this be "O Wood" who lives in Blackheath way London ? I bought my first Tivver from him he is a great guy and very meticulous with getting his TVR's sorted. He was driving a Silver Cerb (Prob yours) a few years ago, it went well on the Tunnel run.Hello,
I'm the chap from Blackheath who used to own this car and sold it to it's current owner. Was a cracking car when I owned it and nothing wrong with the chassis when I let it go. Had it mapped at Austec, serviced by Taylor TVR and was generally pampered. I'm in contact with Euan about buying it back from him, but in the process of buying a house at the moment, so if someone gets there before me, then so be it!
Happy to be contacted by any prospective buyers.
Olly
Ps. Hi Phil, how's the Chim doing?

When ever someone has a TVR up for sale there is always someone out there looking to come up with a comment to pull it apart when they haven't seen it or know anything about it. The guy is looking to sell his car and a prospective buyer can go look at it if not for him then move on he dosent need the negative comments from people who don't like the way he presented the advert.
Personally, the car looks well, and the description all be it not to everyones taste, gives an all round bullet point view of the condition of the car,and what it has or needs doing.
We've all got to bear in mind,we're not all pen pushing book writers who have the vocabulary of a novelist, sometimes you are lucky you can understand the advert never mind take apart the content.
