Nice. Looks quite different with no indicators. Presumably the small light will be used for that and you'll have sidelights in with the headlights?Nothing that can't be reversed if I don't like it though as the indicator apertures are still there. I did a paintshop mock up of how it would look, so had I good idea before I committed to spending money on it.

Looks good but how are you going to get it thorough an MOT without side indicators?
I thought (maybe I am wrong) side indicators are a legal requirement.
Yes you're correct for the need of side repeaters and they will be there, just not in the same position. Short term solution wont look particularly pretty, but will get it thru the MOT so I can drive it at least.I thought (maybe I am wrong) side indicators are a legal requirement.
Well it's been a while since the last PH update....and the restoration has just ticked past the 3 year mark, so thought it was a good time to bring things up-to-date.
Andy at APM has been patiently working his way through a myriad of pernickety issues that just serve to eat up time, as well as putting up with my occasional visits and now tackling the minor task of getting all the electrics to work!
So a couple of additional pics to update progress....

Respect for bringing a very tired car back to life. The engine, chassis and bodywork were all shagged - through hard use not abuse, I should add - which would normally spell the end for any vehicle but it goes to show you can always resurrect a cerb! Great to see.
Edit: liking the front end

Normally I'm a bugger for keeping things as original as possible, but those faired in lights look fantastic. The engine bay looks absolutely spectacular, you must be itching to get behind the wheel after all this time.
I've been itching a long time!! But when its so close to being finished and on a beautifully fresh, crisp and dry day like today, Id love to be able to just take her out and waste some hydrocarbons Edited by djstevec on Sunday 9th November 13:52

It would be great to drive you down to APM when your car is finally ready to collect. I can't wait to see you drive it home.
But you have to promise not to compare and contrast, that would be very unfair!
Just let me know when
Cheers - Paul

Very much appreciated. Tanguero has already offered, as I took him and Mrs Tanguero to pick up theirs from APM a while back. I've got a feeling it'll be a week day pick-up, so might be easier all round for me to jump on a train rather than put people out. But I still don't have a date yet, so nothing's set.
