Englishman & Biper, popped you in as guest reserves for the mo, expect you'll be ok for a confirmed slot but I'll just let the Cerb lot all get a chance to see the thread for the mo - if we do get 20 Cerbs then I'll see if Charlie can up it to 27 .... he's a greedy bugger so I expect he will find a way hehe

If the TVRCC forum wasn't locked down then more people would get involved. I can't even find any information for it searching google!

I don't receive Sprint as I'm no longer a member, there is no real benefit for me as I can get just as good insurance discounts through being a member of PH which costs me nothing.

Unless I completely missed the posting for this event in TVR Events and Meets? TAG11 is in there.

Matt, any club is as much about what you put into it as you can get out of it, be it a car club, a sports club or a Swingers club (actually, very much the case in the last example hehe). IMO, if you are just going to join a club, then sit on your arse and say "OK, now what you YOU going to do for ME?" then you arent entering into the spirit of things.

Well, with my most recent run at Austec not being believed (even I scratchchin'd) I suppose I ought to stick my name down to stop the bunfight in it's tracks hehe
458 roflrofl
Harryw must have been in before you and they forgot to reset the dyno back to normal readings rather than plus 10% ;-)
hehe strangley enough I seem to get slightly higher readings on Charlies road than Austecs for peak HP. AS there are a lot of 4.5's I'll come along as a 4.2.

Oh definitely, I totally agree. I did join when I first had my car, went to some of the local events, joined the Pheasant Runners also on a run out but I really couldn't justify the outlay (cue the "it's only half a tank of fuel comments wink ). I know all about running car clubs as I used to be one of the guys that ran one of the most succesful "modified" car clubs on the south coast paperbag back in the day. Ok we didn't have a magazine, but everyone got free t-shirts, very discounted clothing, stickers etc.

Anyway, it's not about that. laugh what I was getting at is if you want people to turn up to an event you can't pop into a thread where everyone is signing up to an event and then question why they're not going to another event when there is NO coverage or details available to people who do not pay for a quarterly magazine. wink

Be honest, is there ANYTHING on the TVRCC Cerbera forum worth signing up for? Apart from maybe the Oldtimer GP details? laugh

Believe me this is not a dig at the TVRCC in anyway, they do a great job for those who are active participants and members and the length of time it has been running and will continue to run is testament to that.

However, this is nothing to do with the TVRCC, it is being co-organised by Shat My Pants Promotions and the Vixpy Charity for Woolly Jumpers. The official TVRCC (W.Sussex anyway) RR day was last week. And that was advertised on PH and not TVRCC.com

But you couldn't come coz you aint a member tongue out

biglaugh I know, I was referring to the Old Timer GP not this RR day. confused;)

And that's what I mean, if you want a load of people to come to an event you have to let people know it's on smile.

If he has to get up much earlier he might well forget the BBQ, hope Tracy reminds him.
