Alternative seats
Discussion
Not that I know of.
As you can see from my 2014 post, I have been there and have tred quite a few seats.
I can summarise what I can remember :
Seats from other cars:
Lotus Elise seats, but I cannot remember which variant. I did buy some and tried them, but they didn't suit my body shape, and I found them uncomfortable. But many have used them and do like them.
Mazda MX5 seats - again I cannot rmember which variant.
Jaguar XJS seats - but they are quite tight.
Almost any TVR seat.
The issue is that TVRs are unusally narrow at seat base level, and also at shoulder level. Add to that the lowness of the roof and the thickness of the base and seat sliding mechanism in most cars, and if any will fit, many are too thick. I am only 5 ft 11, but my head would be on the roof with many seats.
I ended up with a set of Tuscan seats, also found in the later Cerberas, and they suit me. I take the seat base pad out for track days, so that the seat grips me better, and install harneses for track days too. An hour on the drive each time I want to do a track day.
Race seats: There are loads to choose from. I know of one cerbera owner who fitted Tillett race seats to his Cerbera and loves them, but he doesn't use the rear seats. Again, you need narrow seats with narrow fitting rails, and they must not be too wide at shoulder height. Seat base width and shoulder width are the two TVR pinch points.

Interestings, i heard from a lot if people who disliked the Tuscab seats. Great to see you finally were able to made peace due to them
Do you have specific measurements? I thought maybe tamora seats or Sparco R100 (pretty similar to the special sagaris seats) and taking them to an upholsterer.

... and as a final comment....
The structure of the Cerbera Series II seats (Tuscan) is NFFP and at least the bolsters collapse ( it was worse with mine >80K miles ).
So if you're going to plan to recover a Series II seat then you should budget-in a complete disassembly and re-solder/weld).
For an intermediate solution, I have replaced my collapsed, Series II Driver seat with a Series I....

Central do replacement foam hoops with the metal bolster insert which may be easier than repairing, given the originals aren't great anyway. The structure of the Cerbera Series II seats (Tuscan) is NFFP and at least the bolsters collapse ( it was worse with mine >80K miles ).
