clockwise throttle pots

To avoid confusion I have a 4.5 Cerbera and so I need BLUE pots.

I thought these potentiometers were nominally 5k (5000 Ohms) but its a carbon track and not very accurate in terms of absolute resistance. 5k or 4.7k would be a typical ‘off the shelf’ value but 3 new MJC100021 white parts I measured were I have and measure as 3790, 4280 and 4080 Ohms.

The exact resistance is not so important and is not a good measure of if the pot is OK though.

Well I'm back and _almost_ regretting doing this but I still think it's a good idea so I'll tally up the numbers tomorrow and post up the final buy list with everyone's Pistoneheads name against it

Sorry everyone - work got a bit busy and I had to work abroad for a week!

Anyway we're back on

Prices from Saw Wang @ www.carsce.com are as follows:

DHL cost USD48/pcs, it will take 4-6 days to your address.
20+ of the Black TPS USD18.5 USD370
10 of the Grey TPS USD18.5 USD185

If use paypal and bank transfer, the cost USD40/pcs. USD 643= USD48+USD370+USD185+USD40
Western Union no cost, We only need receive Net USD 603= USD48+USD370+USD185

So what I suggest is we split the shipping and PayPal cost into 15 as that sounds like the number of orders we will get, so the total per person would be:

18.5 USD per TPS x number you want
+
(48 + 40) / 15 = 5.87 USD

so for two throttle position sensors it would be

5.87 + 18.5 + 18.5 = 42.87 USD

If that makes sense then PayPal the amount you would like to the PayPal Money Pool I have setup for this
