I know a lot of owners buy a Halfords battery, but what other battery (bosch etc) fits good in terms of measurements? The Halfords number is not known overhere i believe (the ntherlands).

I just changed mine for a Optima RedTop. Highly recommend it, the cranking capacity is superb and fits just fine. Expensive but worth it

Another vote for the Red Top. I fitted a second hand one that had been used to start massive diesel generators and it's still going strong 5 years later!

I've measured the space in mine & I'm going to go for a Bosch 086 (S4 009) or a Yuasa 086.
Worth noting that the battery clamp is missing from mine, so the available space was 290mm long, 180 wide, 200 high.
Terminals are in the correct format on that pair & both are about £72 from 'justcarbatteries'
