Well after just over six years of ownership, my beloved Cerb has gone frown it has been a great journey & lots of good times have been had & some challenging ones aswell!!

I was getting ready for a change & i have now got a BMW Z4 M Roadster to have some fun in, this forum has been great for knowledge & helpful posters that have helped me along the way & i will always adore the TVR marque its just such a love affair.

Thank you for the good memories smile

Lee I'm gob smacked, can't believe you sold the Cerb. I'm not a fan of the Z4 so don't want to comment on it as I'm sure you've looked into ownership of the car and not just jumped in one.
Still hope we'll see you around though, no matter what you're driving (expect a bit of stick though), hope you and the Z4 can get on as well as you were with Cerb ownership.
Hope to see you around soon mate.
Thanks very much Kev, it was a massive decision & i will still go to meets & the legendary chatsworth get together! i am expecting plenty of stick obviously!!! smile

When i was thinking of getting rid you were the first person i thought of as you have had yours ages & you know that nothing can replace the cerb, i think when i see a TVR on the road now its going to hurt.

Hope all is well with you Kev. smile

Enjoy your new toy Lee.

Another all round good guy leaves the Cerbera fold.

Did you trade the Cerb in or sell it private ?
Thanks Gray, i traded it in, i sold it back to Tony Gilbert who i purchased it from 6 yrs ago, he was very happy to be getting it back, i struggled leaving it with him, i loved it to bits, the Cerb is just such an animal! wink

What Kev didn't mention is that he means in the public car park wink along with the other less
soulful cars. Hope the new ownership goes well......at least you won't be worrying about slave
cylinders.
Thanks Chimmy, your cerb looks quality in your profile photo, starter motors & boot solenoids were my biggest bug bear!!

Good luck with your Z4M Lee. 6 years is quite a good innings with a Cerb and now you're ready to sow your wild Shell points with another. I think the Z4/Z4M is definitely a future classic, like a German TR6. From what I've heard, although I maybe repeating gossip, the Z4s drive better on non-runflats. Just rely on the breakdown/recovery sevice.

Keep lurking. Cheers. Ant.
Thanks alot Ant, i am glad my Z4 hasnt got runflats on it & some describe the Z4 m as a german TVR so i will be home from home! smile

I proper loved that day also Kev, yours sounded mint as you overtook me! They were certainly the good times thanks.

I also remember how pleased you were for me when i went to your south yorks meet for the first time after i had the car rebuilt, after 9 months without it, i was on cloud nine!

Has it gone to anyone local Lee
Its gone back to Tony gilbert cars in warwickshire, so it will be up for sale again soon frown

I bought it off him all those years ago, seemed funny going back to him & not coming away with a TVR.

Thanks Dave, its not got the ultimate power of the cerb, but once the revs are up it goes well enough, i liked the colour combo but i know that the red interior wont be everyones cup of tea!

I hope everything is going well for you with ur rebuild is the engine back in yet?
