i want a 2006 gallardo, help needed!
Discussion
hi all,
i am new to this forum..... so go easy on me.....
a picture of an lp500s in white infront of the golden gate bridge hangs on my study wall, so i guess i like all things lambo, would love to own a murci sv, but can;t afford one just yet..... but gotta have a lambo for a bit, so....
i am after a gallardo, and want ideally a 2006 in nero/yellow, with titanium calisto alloys, yellow calipers and two tone leather interior (not yellow/tan!)..... other extras i do not care..... mdsh essential, ideally manual with 'e' clutch, and low miles......i pick a 2006 as i have the cash for this ready for the right car...without having to talk to the bank and the misses!!
saw this last night.... is mint, but is a 2004, and at the top end of the 2004 retail market.....

anyone know this car..... is it worth 69k? are the revisions to 2006 worth it....is anyone looking to sell a 2006.....

seen those two, been watching the classifieds here this last few weeks..... sl would be nice but other half won't let me spend that much, can easily go to 80k... missed out on the one redline had, that;s going to aus!
not a spyder person, really after a coupe.... thanks for the replies

thanks for all the replies guys...... not so concerned re the extra bhp, but the other changes re gearing ratio, steering and suspension, etc...... think i might hold out for a 2006, though currently prices are going up, i assume depreciation will be less for a 2006 than a 2004, and i intend to keep the car for no more than 2 years....
lp560-4 would be nice, but wife simply won;t let me spend that sort of money!! though she is a secret petrol head.... she drove a manual m5 for 3 years and wants to drive the lambo!!

looks like some of the 2004 cars being sold privately are being brought by dealers/others to immediately resell at a higher price.... assume thats what has happened to yours.....you did sell at a fair price, thats why it went quick, and the spoiler defo helped...
you got a car for me??????? decided on 2006+ btw.....though i would like one without a dodgy v5!!
now we are mates, don;t forget mates rates!!!

hi mate, congrats on your new car..... defo would like to hear your views on egear vs manual.....
i've read egear is better at slipping clutch, i assume at slow speeds, hence higher wear rate.....
ideal spec.... nero/yellow; titanium calisto; mdsh; 'e' series clutch; low miles; two tone interior (not yellow/tan); yellow calipers
and i check the classifieds here far too much (up to 4 times a day!!! )

i know the stiffness is not compromised by the spyder, but does the weight penalty alter the car's handling.....?

Teds car would have been perfect but I was too late, it went quick though! I am prepared to compromise, but also happy to wait.
