Hi Kevin, absolutely stunning car mate! Hopefully you'll be up for our run-out to North Norfolk on the 19th May? Can't wait to see some more pics. Enjoy...!! John.

Congratulations. What a lovely car.

Hadn't realised there were so few Zondas in the UK. Must make trying to buy one quite difficult, even if you have the funds.

I spent a very enjoyable hour with the previous owner today at his office in London to collect some mementos he had of the car. He is real character and shared some amazing stories about his life, love of cars and some genuine nuggets about his philosophy on life. I'm so glad I bought it directly from the owner and had this experience rather than through a dealer. His mementos included lots of photos a lovely framed picture of the car and a couple of scale models of the car.
How did the purchase direct from the owner come about ? Is he going for a Huayra ?

I live close to where Hudsons used to be and am sure I have seen this car being collected by a previous owner from the Roland (Hudsons boss) at my local one Saturday evening. The noise was just epic when he started the car up and I could still hear it probably 30 seconds later as it drove off up the hill!

I was chatting on Facebook with a fellow PH'er about Zondas, he said if you're serious I know a guy who details one. Five email exchanges later, the price was agreed. Went to look at it the next day to check that t was as described and job done. Be careful when musing with fellow PH'ers!
Could've been worse wink
Very Jealous.. behind the F1 a Z is my goal car.. Drop the SL off any time .. I've got garage space!

I had a similar exchange with Richard Abel over his Electric Blue Zonda S (V12 RPA) - knew he owned it , emailed him to his info@company.co.uk address and over a year or so exchanged emails ... It came to a point where I was living back in the UK from NYC and he was in a point to sell. Price was at 375k, which was ok (22,000 miles) - however he would only sell with a contract to buy back - so essentially a lease. What I didn't know is a) his company was in distress (he is now bankrupt) and now I live in Miami with no plans to come back (could only have it over here for a year as not legal). I'm sure with the rise in price, even if I did buy - his creditors would see the increase in value and would enforce the contract to buy back to resell.

I'm guessing it's the same lad that had 1 RPA and RPA 1, once on an F40 and a Diablo? Saw them t a Ferrari do 10-15 years ago. Great pair.

I was reading through some of the service invoices and found one, where they collected the car to Permaguard it. Imagine getting the gig of collecting and delivering it, driving it through central London to Bucks and then charging for your time including the congestion charge. Anyway here is a pic of some of the itmes, I think it is low res enough as to not to identify any personal information. If you know the gentleman I'd prefer we didn't use this thread to discuss any of his personal details. I'll post some pics in a week or so once I've collected it, I'm having the wheels refurbished at the moment as there were a couple of scuffs on them.

Coyft, it’s great to see all the additional paper work and mementos that have come with the car. Can I ask, has the car ever been back to the factory for a service in the past?

What i love about PH is that there are genuine petrolheads out there buying cars like this and being as excited as you are about it.

Congrats OP, i'm sure you will enjoy every second of it.
