Who perhaps copied the idea from Aston Martin in Gaydon?
Isn't there something about this sort of thing in the Bible?

I've not looked it up, but surely McLaren built the Paragon long before Aston moved to Gaydon. And their lake doubles as a heat-sink; cooling the wind tunnels and heating the building......

It's a shame the water is just dirty rain water.

If it was a nice blue ala the Mediterranean Sea or a swimming pool it would look nicer.

I think it should be champagne instead of water. Far more bling. Maybe some sort of champagne glass fountain water feature stage left?

Thought it was just a photoshop. Anyway, now that he's being clever with a submerged ramp, just to check - how do you get in without getting soggy carpets?

I'm guessing someone wades out in wellies whilst carrying a dry pair of shoes and a bin bag for the wet bits?!

By putting any car in a canal you can make it much more desirable

I've always thought the Tom Hartley adverts featuring a car in shallow water are not arty -but 100% idiotic

I guess I just don't trust people to not be clumsy and swing water everywhere.

Fact is, we're all talking about it, so it is working.

FWIW i think it looks crap too.

Well I haven't bought a single super car that was displayed in a lake like this so it can't be working.

The water thing is so shallow. The muddy field look would be much better. Preferably with gratuitous bullocks.

I think if it was used in moderation it would be easier to stomach, I have seen some shots that look great, it's certainly dramatic.

It's become a bit of a parody of itself now that's all, every car is photographed on there and the company social media almost seems more focussed on "the lake" than the cars themselves.

Like they say there's no such thing as bad publicity.... we're all talking about it regardless of our views.... So ultimately hats off to "TH" for creating such a talking point and ultimately more attention for the business.

Never you mind
