Daz, that's bloody funny! Would have loved to have seen that. His mates would have defended their decision to stay quiet by explaining it was his fault in the first place!

I usually prefer to just live quietly, but as you say sometimes you have to just think "fcuk it" and smack someone.

In sept 2001, I saw some student during freshers week kick my S-class, strolled up to the group, decked the fcuker, welcomed him to Bristol and pointed out we didn't welcome vandalisitc scum in this city. His mates were a little "quiet" to put it mildly. At this point I carried on walking along the road so they didn't realise it was my car!

Never seen any vandalism, so sorry to hear some of the stories in this thread. The MX-5 my missus had got busted into, but they got the little scroat that did it.

Ah, but here's the thing pdv6 - car got busted into, Mrs Greg went to the nick and basically Plod wanted jack all to do with it. Presumably wanted to go out and nick motorists or eat donuts instead (apologies to the BIB here, but their attitude sucked). Missus suggested that the car was in full view of CCTV cameras on nearby offices, perhaps they would like to have a look at them ?

Heard nothing for about 7 months. Then got a letter through from the police thanking my missus for her information and as a result they were able to identify who broke into her car so they successfully prosecuted 3 individuals, during which another 47 (!) cases were considered.

Hooray.
