You have the right not to talk to the police etc before they state why they are wanting to talk/pull you over and without seeing and verifying there police number.. It winds them up correct me if im wrong.


Yep this is true, but however much it winds them up they have to comply and they can't do you for anything until they are verified.

Keeping to the question - what is the law on loud exhausts or is it down to the individual (officers) discretion re: public nuisance/breach of peace

I used to always support the Police but must say these days I hate them. I have never had them turn up when called in any quicker than 5 hours but yet they have plenty of time to act like real dicks to the public on any occasion - what's wrong with the dream sounds of a ferrari!! what a nob!
