Ninja,

been upto my ears helping my mum move house, probs with some flats and got a bit disillusioned with the 360 for a while. Sorry to Ajay and Manu for not getting back to you! Since the sun is out. Can't find a house I want or a plot to build one one and the constant frustratio of oiks coming into the carpark at home oggling the cars!!! Things are cool now though and I have a bit more time to surf.

Sell it. Buy a 550 barchetta, the roof is simpler. Oh hang on you need a garage for one of those.

Rich, know what you mean about the house thing, bloody nightmare finding the right one. I'm looking but being a bit cautious about prices.

Shame about the 360 roof. Is there a emergency bypass type of procedure for raising and lowering? Bloody hell I'm getting super annoyed at the thought of it for you mate! The dealer should send someone round asap to YOUR HOUSE to sort it out. And buy you an ice cream while you wait

Seriously, its bloody annoying. I think my manifold has failed. Apparently its not a *if* but *when* type thing. It will happen to all 355 owners. Not cheap either. All 355 owners should get the tubi ones and will never have the problem again. Shame Ferrari's ones can't be made in the same way, plus they are pretty much on par for price.

Still, love the sound she makes though.

Dude, get that roof down and go for a blast. Would join you but I'm working today... You'll feel better about the car (unless the F-ing thing breaks down or overheats )

Oh, Rich, have you seen our website recently? Wouldn't mind your thoughts as to layout and whether it needs more colour. Have a look at our "stock" and see what you reckon, we've had a few new "stock lines" added recently.

Also get yourself down to London for a night out one Wed or Thursday. Many of our members come down every week, so it'll be a laugh.

Seriously Mrsd, if you could get that flying pig to head to North London later today, I feel I might need him.

Shame they don't treat customers a bit better.

I was at Verdi's yesterday and they bloody well work hard. There at 7.30pm and they still had a look at my car, very polite, very professional. Try that at a main dealer!!

Try getting a main dealer to work when it's
-too hot
-too cold
-nearly Friday
-after 3pm
-a public holiday (anywhere in the world )

Sorry to bring this thread back to the point but I thought I'd give an update of what's happened since I wrote to Ferrari UK.

In contradiction of what other have said they were very helpfull and courteous and were arranging factory collection for me, and applogised for the confusion.

However, upon checking the cars status he found it had landed at the docks this morning!
Indeed to my surprise they even offered that if I wanted to pick the car up from the factory they would send it back to Italy so I could do so.

I call that fantastic customer service.

So anyhow, my car should be with me next week , I'm booked on a factory tour in July and I'm rather excited all round.

PS Who hijacked my thread anyway?

What excellent news.

I look forward to hearing the dealer principals response when advised a member of his staff lied to a customer on the factory collection issue.

I think they should throw in the fitted luggage for depriving you of the experience of factory collection rather than going to the trouble of sending the car back!!!

DAZ

PS - Threads don't get hi-jacked around here, absolutely definitely yes.

I know I'm replying to myself but I've seen and sat in my 360 now, and I'm rather excited.

Should get it any day, just being PDI'd and registered.

I'm a very, very happy man!!

Bertie, you lucky man!

Looks fantastic, the scuderia's are such a touch on black.

Bet you're counting down the minutes to arrival
