didnt they mount the engine directly to th chassis or somesuch. Thus making it identical to a race car but a bit harsh and skippy as a road car and therefor never quite held in as high regard as the f40?
When evo did thier group test the F50 shone above all the others on the road. In fact I still have the issue and it was a shock to them but everyone chose it as the tests clear winner for driving experience and overall desirability over the other 3.

Which is nice because up until then I had always been a closet fancier of the car, feel less embassised now hehe

I fullfilled one ambition when I got a wee hurl in an F50 in October. While it sounds beautiful and refined and smooth from the outside, from the inside you know there is a lot going on. Really loud, harsh, in your face, like you were in the middle of a war zone. I laughed a lot, I loved it. Made the drive home on my 360 very tame by comparison. I want one.

Spotted one of these coming out of the tunnel en route to Monaco last year. I managed to catch him up in the gallardo and gave him a big thumbs up. Cracking looking car.

Andy.

One of my greatest ever motoring experiences was racing an F50 through the tunnels in Rouen on the way back from Le Mans in 2005, what a noise cloud9

Friendly driver and passenger, gave us a chance and a wave.

The F50 has been my favourite Ferrari for a long time ... closely followed by the 250 GT California and 288 GTO smile

I saw that just a few minutes after he picked it up, looked and sounded great, I also drove his carver thing which was a unique experience. I take it you work in plantation wharf ?

I was told that running an F50 made running an F40 seem cheap!

I seem to remember Evo describing the F50 as a 'clubsport' Enzo!

Perfect !
The F40 sounds like artilary fire going on as well, I initially thought it was lots of stones hitting the wheel arches laugh

Compared with the F40, it's incredibly easy to drive. Great car nonetheless, and aging well.
