Are there other head-cases around like me ?
Anyone else got a project they can share?
BTW paddy328 did a top job on TeaSpn, applied the new G-Tech Serum, it looks like glass, the depth on the paint is beautiful. He applied the serum to the HRE wheels too, and the black interior centre console panels.
Then had the front end (full wings and bonnet, including Carbon Grille and Carbon Splitter), plus the black gloss roof (for bird st defence) done at PaintSheild. They applied the new 2nd Generation Suntek self-healing film. It is a truly amazing product.
You need to link up with Alex Gray over on the TVR forum - his little project is his Sagaris and he has just one or 2 custom fabrications to that Anyone else got a project they can share?

Your Aston looks amazing and I love the attention to detail, I also love the fact it's unique but still understated and subtle - fair play to you sir!!

You can just see the film not folded over the edge of the bonnet here:

I doubt there are many other headcases (jn a good way) like you. If your creation was a tailored suit it would be a one off Huntsman/Brioni collaboration. Can't call what you've done modding - its more bespoke than that and completely unique with better weight distribution than a V12 and V12 S Anyone else got a project they can share?

Fabulous attention to detail. End result is absolutely stunning. I've carried out something similar with my 997 but with nowhere near the attention to detail you've gone to. In a perfect world I'd add carbon bucket seats, remove rear seats, carbon roof, carbon bonnet, carbon front wings, carbon rear wings and carbon brakes. Saves 150kg of weight. We should perhaps ask a magazine to independently test them back to back to show what you can do with a £30-40k donor car!
Thank you Sir! Great project with your Porsche 997! I wonder that a magazine would be interested in something like this, don't they only like glossy production cars?W111AAM said:

You know you're absolutely right about the weight of the V12 Vantage making the front end handle differently corning with the extra weight.

Love the Gallardo, but wouldn't mind your Megane 275 Trophy either :P how you finding the Megane ?Its easily good enough to get up early on a sunday and just rag around some B roads for an hour or two. Its no Golf GTi but its can also move 4 people and their luggage around if you need it to as well.

The Megane is brilliant. I had a 265 Trophy for a couple of years and this one is very much like it but usefully improved in some key areas. Over the last few months its been my weekend toy whilst the Gallardo spends most of its time sitting in its hutch.

Have you got the Ohline dampers on your Meg ?Its easily good enough to get up early on a sunday and just rag around some B roads for an hour or two. Its no Golf GTi but its can also move 4 people and their luggage around if you need it to as well.
When you say "It's no Golf GTI", do you mean the Golf is the better of the 2 ? I want to own a Megane RS at some point, R26R or 265 are most likely unless the 275's take a bigger hit than i anticipate.

R26R is Renaultsport at their purest but its not a usable daily in any way like an RS250/265 is.

Nice colour line up but the we a picture in order, yellow>orange>red.
Glad to hear the Golf is better, is that not a GTD in the pictures though?
Its a GTD and its better as a daily than the Renault because its a little less compromised in things like ride quality, access ,economy whilst still being a decent steer. But as a drivers car its not batting in the same league as the Renault. And for me thats more important than how it does the shopping or whether my missus/parents grumble about the seat bolsters or gloomy back seats.Glad to hear the Golf is better, is that not a GTD in the pictures though?
If I had to have one of them only it would be the Yellow peril every day without a second thought
