Engine rebuild
Discussion
I know what happens and even I’m excited for the next instalment.
I think I have found my new blog author!
Thank you to everyone for the lovely words and comments throughout this build thread.
Also thank you to Simon for trusting us with his pride and joy. Always lots of little (and big in this case) setbacks in a project like this, but he has always been very understanding and very willing to allow us to go the extra mile (in time and cost) to get the high level of finish we wanted. The end result is quite beautiful.
It’s also very nice that over the last year and a bit from meeting “Captain Tea Boy” he has become a friend and frequent visitor/take the pisser at REP HQ.
I hope that doesn’t change!!
Cheers Ricky

I too look forward to reading the final instalment.
Really sorry. I’ve had the car back for several weeks now and it really is awesome. Waaaaaay better than standard! In fact, it’ll be back with Ricky tomorrow for it’s 1000 mile oil change. I’ll re-read the last few posts (to get back up to speed) and finish the thread off soon. Standby.............l
