Fab car, after market warranties in my experience are pretty poor for car's like your's, limits on them are usually quite low. Better put the premium in an account and forget it's there. I had a dealer try and sell me one for a Ferrai £500 for six months maximum single claim 2k- what use is that?.
Enjoy the car!.

But have noticed there is condensation inside both headlights....is this normal? Im guessing they havent been sealed properly, is this a big expense to have corrected?
Standard design vault. My old gallardo came with 2 tiny drill holes in each of the lights which virtually negated the problem.

Just hit 41,000 miles in the LP640. 4587 drivers since new in 2007 - been hammered round tracks since then.

Overall? Superbly reliable, though the gearbox is the weak link. Had two new ones under warranty - ours is manual - and its clearly at the top of its game with 630BHP. That said its been fine since, although third gear syncromesh is starting to whine meaning a 'box rebuild.

Expect rear spoiler to begin a life of its own and various lights on the dash that seem to cure themselves especially the check engine ones.
Doesn't use much oil unlike Gallardo's but always keep an eye on it. I once had it cutting out on corners and couldnt work it out until I checked the oil. Not a drop in it. Filled it up and the cutting out ceased immediatly.
Very much a sorted supercar in my opinion, I cant remember it letting me down once. It's going soon though. Looking forward to its replacement wink

Well thats reassuring! lol Fingers crossed no monstrous repair bills in the first 12 months anyway! Will treat it with love and care lol - by the way bud I read over in Readers cars forum section that you managed to keep the vents open on the LP640 by taking a fuse out? Would you mind if you explain how/where either in pm or on here? By the way check this out I ordered for 1700pounds and is coming on Saturday which you may like! Much cheaper than the real 14k wing from lambo directly....!

That's some seriously painful looking clearance you've got coming out of the garage, are you catching the front with the suspension raised? What are your initial thoughts after taking delivery and first drive?

Absolutely amazing car sounds wonderful, interior is gorgeous and very comfortable suprisingly! Can imagine a 70mile drive to London not actually being too painful! I havnt been able to drive it yet as still waiting for DVLA to issue the car's first UK plates as its an import from Hungary! It is catching the nose but by tonight the tarmac should be dry enough which we've laid down and a much more even slope so easier to get in/out!

Yes, to keep the vents up permanently best have two people. Open the engine lid, start the car then press the button to raise them manually. Once they are up have your mate ready to flick the battery master switch on the passenger side under the lid. Turn off the ignition then get your mate to immediately flick off the battery switch. Leave a minute, turn back on and hey presto the vents won't go down. It's much more complicated getting them back down though.
Could you PM me or let me have the where you got the rear wing from ta? Look good on the orange Murcie me thinks

Have the website address / email of the place I bought it from on work PC so I'll pm you tomorrow - I recieve it in 2 days (saturday) so I suggest you wait till I've had a look so 2 of us dont get ripped off with shoddy workmanship lol.

Could you show me a pic of the battery kill switch m8? and where abouts it is exactly?

You can't miss the master switch. It's metal and on the passenger side of the engine compartment..

Done it! Thanks dude...seems like the wings are lifted higher than usual any chance you could send me some close up pics of your wings and how high theyre stuck lol

And website I ordered from is http://www.automoderna.lt/?l=en

Email them and ask for LP640 rear wing and perhaps mention me so they know the spech your after. Dont think they do LP670 wings for the LP640 tho!

If I had a lottery win, that's the exact spec (inc wing) I would buy.

Stunning.
