nothing to do with bias, but sorry, for me, p1 wipes the floor with this and the lambo....
I have to agree with you; the P1 looks like a 'New Age' hypercar, this looks exactly like I expected it to....it's not huge step up from the Enzo in terms of styling IMO.I haven't seen either in the flesh though, so not really in a position to comment too much.
Lovely, taken the necessary time and place to come up with something brilliant.
This is a question of national pride, one might note. So it was to be expected.
Bligh me, that dynamic data is mindboggling. Simply new dimensions.
Plus, it makes my old donkey 458 look quite modern !
Best,
Ulli

Have to say that whilst I'm impressed with the claimed performance stats, the looks do nothing for me...
To my eyes it looks like a poor mish-mash of "Supercar greatest hits"; I can almost hear the design briefing now...
"Please could I have a car with the roofline of a Zonda, the 'feel' of Mr Glickenhaus's P4 homage, ideally with an odd uplifting shut line on the side that could be a nod towards the F50 and if you could pop some F458 Italia headlights on there, that would be magic."
Interior?
"If you could think "TVR on crack" that would be great - I'd love as many buttons on the steering wheel as possible & would love it if you could hide the horn buttons somewhere in the wheel rim, so when I turn a corner on the road I can beep at people as well, that would be super"
If you could make it almost uninsurable as well, that would be perfect...

Impressive if validated:
Veyron: 0-300 km/h: 19.8s
LaFerrari: 0-300 km/h: 15s
Chhhhhhhhhhhhrist.Veyron: 0-300 km/h: 19.8s
LaFerrari: 0-300 km/h: 15s
And Veyron Super Sport is faster 0-300 km/h than this new Ferrari.

What is the likely hood of the Ferrari allowing this car to be tested against the P1 in twin test anytime soon?
I have also heard that Ferrari are tying buyers into a 2/3 year buy back scheme to prevent speculators from getting their hands on the car
Likelihood of a twin test? Slim, I'd suggest. Too much to lose for either manufacturer. It could definitely happen though. Years ago, Car magazine managed a slightly under-the-radar twin test of an F1 and F50 - without identifying the owners and using a GTR racer for the photos! I'm sure that some of Ferrari's anointed band of preferred customers will also be P1 owners as well.I have also heard that Ferrari are tying buyers into a 2/3 year buy back scheme to prevent speculators from getting their hands on the car
Interesting on the topic of speculators. The thing is, I'm sure this 'LaFerrari' (is that really what it's going to be called?!) is sold out already, so surely anyone trying to sell the car on early would, for want of a better phrase, lose their status as preferred customers?
Modern supercars are getting uglier and uglier in my opinion. It's all become about speed and technical exercises and because of that, they have seemed to forgot about the styling which to me is the most important aspect.
I'd rather have a F40 or something among those lines any day over these new supercars.

There is an agreement not to sell the car for the next two years AFAIK......It's like Christmas Day when you are kid, I have been patiently waiting to see what the next super ferrari would be, with no Internet access all day until now, I was looking forward to it being good, but having just seen the official video I am amazed it as exceeded my expectations it is fantastic.
I have just watched it again with my two ferrari mad young sons, who declare it a big hit and the oldest asked when can I get a poster of that in my room.
ASAP I can find one. Stunning car. It is on my fantasy euro millions car list too.
Wonder when customer cars start to be delivered.
