Fed up of micro-damage by garages

Rat pull the race card and get a free service, and perhaps some new damage.
Cappuccino is the only thing free you will get out of them, Damaged my car then had the cheek to charge me £800more than the last service to change two more fluids ,QV charge less than that for the whole service.
Did try to see if they would go 50/50 on the split gaiter on the 430 seeing i only had the car for 6 months at the time and covered
under 2,000 miles , I did suggest that it was probably like it when they sold it to me as i hadn't been anywhere
that would have caused it,as expected my offer was turned down saying that could not be possible due to their point system check,
Their point system check missed my exhaust was hanging off one side, radio was coded in after fitting new battery and there
was no code in the service or handbook and the interior light button on the door shut was broken also they lost the battery
tender not to mention stamped my 19,000 mile service in the 31,000 mile part of the service book.
Sorry rant over, These large corporate garages have got too impersonal and i find that people like QV and Emblem take much better care of
you and your car and that is why i took my aging Gallardo to Emblem and they looked after it like a baby despite it's age.

After may years working my way up the car ladder and having over 100 cars in my time I finally got a nice Porsche and after 300 miles it developed a fault. Anyhow dealer had it 2 weeks and I am really picky about damage. I asked 3 times if I could have a condition report upon handover to them, which was a quick blurred video 4 days later. I then asked if my car could be kept inside as Id just spent 100k of my hard earned on it. When I went to collect it it was sandwiched in the customer car park, I never park it next to other cars if possible due to door dents. I was amazed because it had no damage at all and it was a bumper off repair job. I think this was more luck than anything as Ive had damage in the past. Including 3 brand new cars arriving or being damaged before collection. I really dont trust any dealers with my pride and joy, but needs must so come service time, I make it known I am picky.

Think the staff in these large main dealers get blase to all these high end cars that they see every day, Most of there proud owners not really wanting to hand the keys over but as you say needs must,
Never leave my cars outside but must be a problem for the dealers to put everybody's cars inside as they all
look congested, now my warranty is out i will be relieved to take my 430 to my regular Ferrari specialists that i've used over 26 years.
