Oh God
Interesting flatnose, at that price its a 930 with the flatnose kit on like SB930s rather than a real one ie £40k ish but the price is competative and the kit looks like genuine panels like sb930s. Looks like RUF wheels too. Only thing is low miles is not always agood thing on 911s, often the bores glaze and they are down on compression and drink oil so if anyone is considering it make sure you get a cyl leakage & compression check done as part of your inspection.

Yeah it looks like 'em. As in RUF = German porker tuner not as in rough!! You can always flog em and get a propper set of Fuchs wheels a la sb903 on there tho. The Fuchs do look wicked if ya get 'em polished up.

Been following this thread with interest, the 288GTO is also one of my dream cars, remember reading those articles in CAR - Bring back the GTO, etc in 1984. But I don't have the dosh, unless my numbers come up tomorrow!!
Anyway onto flatnoses, surely the one 456mgt should look at is here:-
www.specialistcarsltd.co.uk/swap/porsche_935_1/porsche_935.htm
a proper RUF one with 470bhp, that'll show some of those Italian stallions the way home (in a straight line). Even more pricey than the other one, but is stretched to 3.4 litres with special RUF pistons, crank, etc and bigger Turbo!!!

I agree about the wheels, a proper set of 17" RUFs should do the job though.
Agree about the price, but an interesting car. Been personally owned by the boss of Specialist Cars for last 4 years and according to GT (Porsche Magazine) reckons that its a bit full-on for everyday use and the guy has a Diablo as well!!
I say press on with 288GTO

At the risk of getting my head kicked in on Sunday
, am I alone thinking the flatnose is a little, well, Miami Vice; if you get my meaning? :runslikefcuk: For me proper 911's don't have pop-up lights.
Anyway, Kev you don't really want a 911 do you, what your garage needs is a superfast comfortable open top sportster (I wonder where this is going) for those sunny (ok, dry) days. Something like a Chimaera would do you, and being british you'd have to have it in a classic colour like BRG. Being you, presumably you'd like a nice loud exhaust to... Funnily enough that sound like my car!!!

And what's wrong with that? I have every episode of Miami Vice on betamax- you just don't get quality drama like that today. Don Johnson? Well, the man's a legend. I hope you're not trying to tell me that I've been wasting my time with the tourniquet I've had on my testicles for the last six months to get my voice squeaky. And have you any idea what the waiting list is to have your legs shortened on the NHS?

Kev are you being serious?
Do you have the three episodes where Crockett gets amnesia and switches to the other side. Working his way up to being a crime lord.?
If you have these three is there any way you can copy them to VHS? If so I shall be greatly in you debt.
DAZ
Barsteward powercuts when on holiday. I saw the first of the three years ago then missed the other two when the timer on the video died.

Obviously we can come to some arrangement over costs.

Pink sleeveless T shirt or a pair of cream loafers and they're yours! I can do the stubble myself.
Deal. Sizes?
I've got off lightly, you could've asked for an 86 white/cream testarossa.
I'll email you off board if you profile permits.
