I'm in West Bridgford - always welcome the sight of lovely motors.

Have already spotted the Murcie spider and the 575 around and about locally.

Looking forward to spotting the CGT at some stage!

i work next to the resturant and last week ed came down in no less than 6 cars from mon-sat!! so believe me you'll see much more than that at some point. i get to see, touch and go out in them nearly every other day and i still get a tingle every time i pull into the ed's driveway

its literally next door to the right of the pearl as you look at it, veyron is the big question at the moment but before that it was always the zonda f, we saw it first in geneva last year and we both thought that that was the next one to have until the veyron came along, so we will probably own one of the two at some point in the future! Just waiting for amv8, m5 and f430 spyder which are all due in a month or so. We are all excited about those! When you back from leeds?

i sent it through PH so whichever account you have linked to it, when somebody pms you from PH and your on hotmail it usually goes to the junk folder for some reason, so give there a check

i know what your saying, i dont have any experience of paddle changes, but i couldnt imagine driving one, i have a passion for a manual and always will. no matter how good the f1 may be, i will always prefer a clutch. just my opinion, and obviously having never driven a ferrari have no idea what its like but just prefer the manual.

what made you choose the F1 over the manual?

Even Valentino Balboni says that F1 is much better than manual, if you want to drive like him LOL

the thing i was trying to get across was, although it may be better, i would rather be much more involved with the car, and i perceive a clutch pedal as the way to be involved.

The F1 in the 430 is just leaps and bounds above any F1-style i've ever driven.

Oh and there is more demand for F1s, so the resale was better.

Every single time we have bought a ferrari in the past it has been manual, tried the paddle shift out and mum seemed to like it, its mums car mainly you see and its a spyder not a coupe which i wrote down earlier in the topic... Wasnt thinking! Mum makes a point of having all manual porsches and other cars she buys, but mainly porsche cuz she is the main porsche fan in our family! Well and me of course :P

Anyways back to the gearbox choice! There was another reason for changing from manual however, as the 360 spyder we had had a problem with the gearbox and hardly ever went into 2nd gear at critical moments which was dangerous and they could never fix it, so hey why not get an electronic gearbox where theres even more to go wrong.... Lets just pray it doesnt!

Went to see my amv8 today! its been delivered to paramount derby.. got the call that it had just arrived so had to go straight down there! looked beautiful in black, very pleased with the spec, just gotta wait till march 1st now!!

And i totally agree! i went with ed, the sound system is also amazing! when it was turned right up the bass was soooooo much my seat was vibrating
also the man who decided to put LED lights should be made a knight because they look so F#####G cool!!! the sound from the tail pipes isnt too bad either even before the valves have been taken out!
