I should perhaps also add that I also added a different exhaust system to the car, not the standard upgrade but one which may have had a sticker on it to do with 'road use' and 'not for' and... but it may have come off at some point.
was it still Lambo approved exhaust or purely aftermarket ?Immense sounding indeed!
Love the colour too BigR
Just sold mine after 2 years of ownership and 11k faultless miles. Great cars which have loads of road presence and fantastic performance, even in standard guise as Evo quoted "anything this side of a Porsche 918, will struggle to keep up with". So enjoy and don't forget to take it on track they're a blast.

Whats next for you then? Steve
Must have liked your Huracan more than Aventador considering the mileage you did?

Thank you! Mine is looking a little dirty after having sat in a field at Silverstone for two days this weekend. 650 miles in my first two weeks! Hopefully I won't keep it up at that level......
Don't suppose you're taking it to Silverstone Classic, by any chance? I'm a mechanical engineer and drive an E46 330i
Desperately need to up my game...!

I have just returned to working overseas and left my new beauty with 1200 miles on her after less than 3 weeks!! Cant wait to get back to the UK for some more hooning, sadly I don't think that will be this year.BigR said:
Off to France in it this weekend for a few days, so think I'll be pushing similar numbers. On one level it feels a bit "err...putting miles on this expensive motor", but on every other level I think its 100% the right thing to do. Except for the insurance limitations on mileage :-(
Seriously, stop worrying about it, enjoy the car until you stop, and the sell it, and buy something else!BigR said:

Have a great trip, should be a lovely drive. Fingers crossed the weather will be on your side. Like has already been said don't worry about the mileage just enjoy your car! That has to be decidedly depressing surely, knowing you have that parked up and out of reach? How often are you back to drive it? I merely ask in case you want someone to give it a quick spin from time to time, you know just to keep things ticking over :-)
Trip was v. good - found some great little roads with sweeping bends, good sight lines and...great surfaces! Roof down, on the down change the exhaust popping away, awesome!
And not to mention the chateau / champagne / lobster... sometimes life feels tough, but the odd weekend of over-indulgence can keep you going for some time

I know my Lambo is safe and sound and being well looked after, although not driven at all. Unsurprisingly you aren't the first to offer your services
My work has me in Asia for most of the year, but thats what pays the bills and allows me to indulge in nice cars. Cant have it both ways, i sacrifice time in the UK and have to make the most of my holidays! On the bright side every time i get back I'm either picking up another new car or it feels like i am .
Your trip sounds fantastic, perfect roads for our cars with great tarmac and relatively quiet. I hope you kept half an eye out for the gendarme!
I will be looking into what Lamborghini tours are happening next summer, i really fancy doing a nice 10 days in Europe.
