Mo's collection
Discussion
Seems a bit schizophrenic.
One one side there's the cardboard cut-out car collection. "If I had a load of money and wanted an instant collection of classics and moderns, what would the most popular cars be? Get them."
Then there's the taste-free Emirates blingmobiles that I would say more reflects his personal choice.
Not denying there are some lovely cars there, but it doesn't strike me as the cohesive, considered choice of somebody who genuinely knows and loves cars.

The Lamborghini Miura is an SV not SVJ, but it looks like it's possibly the ex Shah of Iran car.
yeah I wondered if it was the same car (it certainly was sold from New Orleans to Bahrain) - one day I will buy that actual car because there is something very special to me about itEdited by traxx on Friday 5th November 20:26

I would have to have at least 1 Mclaren F1 in any collection like that...
Me too!I think this is a great collection, proper classics and the best modern offerings. I think the collection only lacks the personal touch of cheap fun classics ie mk1 mini, rs2000 etc.

Lord Mexborough has a very comprehensive Porsche collection.
Does anyone remember 'The Patrick Collection', housed in Birmingham, had perhaps 100+ cars, some really quirky, was disbanded about 15 years ago though.
I'm pretty sure that there is still a "Patrick Collection" ,but its not as big as it was in it's heyday and is no longer open to the public. Does anyone remember 'The Patrick Collection', housed in Birmingham, had perhaps 100+ cars, some really quirky, was disbanded about 15 years ago though.

Regarding the other thread, I'm afraid I've missed that one.
