thats good to hear, one of the big influences in selling mine was concern around crash safety! i know the glass fibre shell does well as dissipating energy around the car which id why they always look a right mess after even a small shunt.Beni997 said:

i've got a comp pack car which is supposed to be vastly improved over the original M4 plus BMW have been making improvements under the skin over its lifetime, i really enjoy mine... its quiet, comfortable and practical when i need it to be and proper lairy with a flick of a few buttons, its surprisingly fast... general consensus is they are nearer 500Bhp... who knows, main complaints are rattles - mines got one (need to get that booked in!) and traction... okay the TC light does come on a lot, but for me its a reminder that you can't drive like a prat and it needs treating like a proper high power car, you wouldn't drive a 996 GT2 like a prat right? however i don't think i could just have it as a single performance car, if i sell my F430 then i'm considering a 991.2 GTS as the M4 lacks a certain specialness... probably coz its just a souped up 4 series at the end of the day

Yep, got one of these but the R53 JCW is even more fun Also got a 530d Touring if going distance or need the space for bikes etc. Z4 for wife's fun car. C63 or E92 M3 on the list in the next few years
My 2nd car and daily is an Audi S1.
It might just be a quicker Audi A1 but I really like this car. It has the Golf GTi engine (current spec) with a Haldex 4WD system in a tiny package. I spec'ed the Quattro interior and exterior styling and black pack to at least make it look a littlemore gangsta less girly
I don't want anything bigger as:
- My commute is over Surrey's narrow track country roads where no supercar would dare go.
- I don't need to take adults in the back, although I do need to drop my 3 year old son at nursery, hence the 5 doors.
- I spend very little time on the motorway (1 junction on M25 occasionally).
- It fits nicely in my garage alongside "the main event" even with my bikes (the push type) and a small workspace behind it.
- I already have a large family car that the Mrs drives.
Very popular as daily cars for supercar vloggers too.

Our little fleet - a group picture from a 'car washing day", although the TT was bought to replace the MX5 (now gone) as the main daily driver. The TT is the standard 2.0T, effectively a Golf GTI in an Armani suit and it's plenty quick enough for a daily, gives us a bit of carrying space and suits us pretty well (you can probably tell we don't have kids!). I absolutely love the Boxster which I've had for nine years.
