Are Ferraris becoming more common?
Discussion
I think they are more common (this is a good thing!). Clearly the population is increasing every year both in terms of the official imports, but also the plethora of left hookers that have arrived in the country. Ferrari`s aren`t often scrapped either!
I think the key thing though, is that the ownership demographic has changed. More people earn more money than ever before, and there are an awful lot of people releasing equity from their homes to buy toys!
If anyone is concerned by this look at how many porkers you see now!

Here are a few numbers for the most affordable and "common" Ferrari's;
Total production for 308
11,431 - rhd cars-965
Total prod for 328
7412 - rhd cars-672
Total prod for 348
8654 -rhd cars- 496
Total prod for 355 ;
11,206- rhd cars-1384
Unless 1000's of LHD cars are finding their way into the UK, i fail to see how the marque is getting more common.The reality is that they are much more affordable and within the reach of normal buyers like myself, who previously bought 911's as Ferrari's were considered way too expensive.

Hello Tony
I rarely see any ferrari on the road. Will be seeing one in our garage soon enough though!
Getting my first ride in a ferrari tomorrow, 360 round bedford autodrome, yay!
I live at Holmfirth and have been through Wakefield at least 5 times this week with the 355 Spider.This last week I have absolutely kicked its ass like never before.Been out every day this week.Its been out round Leeds today and I screamed through all the tunnels at 60 in third! Its always parked in Leeds on a Fri or Sat night.I'm passed worrying now about vandalism.lifes too short.That tubi is awesome.totally addictive!
Murph
Don't get me wrong the site of a Rarri is a great one but I feel the WOW factor has now gone for me. I remember as a kid I would see one and practically snap my neck trying to watch it go passed me. Pluss I saw another two this weekend one of which I had a conversation with during a traffic jam pleasent fella.
Chill murph was not a personal statement.
