I haven't!

As much as I like white don't you think that such an extreme car demands an extreme paintscheme? It's similar to the Lotus Exige in that respect. Don't cha think?

I had one of those when my car had to go in for some work. Not bad little cars. The one I had, had 4 miles on the clock . It was a boggo model but still had a 6 disc cd changer, air con, and remote central locking.

Stop trying to be nice - you hated that car!

It was good for what it was, but yes I did hate it. The interior plastics were poor, the door shut sounded crap. It felt so cheap. Had quite a nice little engine though.

I suppose, but I think that something like that green would be it, yellow to me just seems very overused nowadays. I know I bought my car in the colour I did because I didn't want it to be one of the blue, black, or silver cars you see so many of.

I'm still going with white though.

Nastywej, how was VMAX?

Whats wrong with your gallardo spider?

It could'nt keep up with a 26 year old, three litre GTS ! .... (with a pensioner pilot, suffering from severe conjunctivitus).

I would have sold it too !

IF YOU READ THE LATEST EDITION OF AUTOCAR MAGAZINE YOU'LL SEE A TEST DRIVE OF THE LP640 WHERE THE WRITER MENTIONS THAT THE VERY CAR PICTURED IS AN ALL-NEW GREEN; 'A WATERY MOSSY GREEN' AND HE'S RIGHT IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY IT IS AND IT LOOKS BUFF, SO IT'S NOT VERDE ITHACA AND IT'S NOT GARISH LIME-GREEN, BUT CLOSE. I THINK THIS COLOUR ALONG WITH YELLOW CALLIPERS, 'HERCULEAN' TITANIUM ROADSTER RIMS (AND NOT THE NEW HERMERA ONES) TAN LEATHER THROUGHOUT, CROSS-STITCHED IN YELLOW WITH CARBON FIBRE INSERTS IN 6 SPEED MANUAL IS WHAT YOU WANT.

Possibly, but if you look at the Medeira Drive shots of our little meeting at Brighton, you'll notice that Orange, Silver and Red also feature very heavily. Yellow was by no means dominant.

Unlike Ferrari, there isn't really a corporate colour for Lamborghini, just anything 'loud' will do. Having said that, the launch cars have a habit of appearing in yellow so perhaps that's why it seems to be overused?

The Corporate Lambo Color - if yellow is - was 'introduced' not that long ago now wasn't it?

Older Lambo's (60s, 70s, 80s) seem to have no 'favour' for yellow or red or whatever.

Light metalblue looks great on the Gall spider BTW.

Outrageous:

top choice. lovely in white. saw one at FOS last year - blummin beautiful.

So few questions?!:

1) when will you get it?
2) whats it like agreeing to spend nearly £200k on a car?
3) was ordering a special experience or as normal as buying a ford?

Sorry for the banal questions but all very exciting!

I think that you have made the right choice there. Especially if you have an OCD condition when it comes to cleaning.

www.evoposters.net/carsa/album314/IMG_7799 gives you a rough idea of what Brighton Maderia drive had.

Good point. Throughout the '60s all Italian sportscars were red, whether they were Massers, Fezzas, Alfas.. whatever. It was the ITALIAN colour. Ferrari made red their own at some point and I guess Lamborghini have had to adopt something else. A red Countach or Muira is still a thing of beauty though.

Well I dunno Mike.

Light baby blue (sometimes a bit greenish even), almost mustard yellow, steel grey with a hint of bleu or green, and lavender purple / blue were typical Italian colours. Where are they?

And drool over this dry sumped and golden baby.

Imagine that, framed somewhere in the garage . . . I'm getting O/T here . . . sorry.
