I was expecting something ground breaking. Out of date already. No battery on board? EV range? Surely Ferrari now have the tech to deliver a 2+2 with 100+ miles EV capability but with a V8 for out of town driving? Shame. Missed opportunity especially when you consider fossil fuelled cars are being phased out.
Maybe Ferrari can start to release some truly innovative products rather than relying on their past. I don't think I've been as disappointed in any Ferrari release. I'll await their fossil fuelled SUV in anticipation.
I think i'm looking forward to the Tesla Model Y more than this :-) Perhaps McLaren have something more interesting for release soon?

Does anyone offer a Hybrid with 100+ Miles of EV range combined with a big naturally aspirated engine ?! Not yet unfortunately. If Tesla can launch a Roadster that does over 250mph and 0-60 in 1.9 seconds - the technology must be there.Massive opportunity for the likes of Ferrari, McLaren etc

'Launch'Massive opportunity for the likes of Ferrari, McLaren etc
I'm a huge Tesla fan, but come on, that Roadster is still vapourware. Not a single one of the claimed stats has been proven yet.

A mate works for JLR on their electric drivetrain stuff....he said the next gen of batteries are going to be cheaper through manufacturing scale rather than delivering massive amounts more power/range. It’s going to be a while before electric cars deliver the kind of range and performance people want....

Anybody got any idea when UK dealers might be seeing one of these?
I heard a story last night that it could be two years til UK customer cars due to lack of production capacityNot sure how accurate that is but I can certainly see not before early 2021 as they need to focus for the next year on producing the F8

That’s wonderful but every time I see a photo like that I think Really? Could you not have taken a couple more when you could see the entire car..?
According to said friend, the security guys were making active efforts to stop photo's so I think it was a shoot and dash..Gassing Station | Supercar General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
