One of my New Year’s resolutions is to drive my cars more this year, and I thought one way of doing it would be to join an owners club / supercar drivers club.

I’ve got a 458 and a 964 and was leaning more towards the SCD club, however would be good to get feedback from people who are members of either/both.

Thanks in advance.

Two other possibilities since you mention owners clubs is surely FOC (strong local area near you I believe) and Drivers Union

I’m in 3 owners clubs and DU. No FOC experience. DU is highly recommended

Another vote for Drivers Union. Lots of interesting meetings, good discounts at several leading companies and run by Sy who’s a top guy.

Drivers Union for interesting events, diversity of them, and the people you'll meet; owners clubs can be a trifle nerdy trainspotting in flavour , just mho you understand.

What 964 do you have?

Looks like lots of votes for DU, which I’d not heard of, but will take a look. Am based in Surrey, so something South East focused isn’t an issue.

Yes, completely understand about owners clubs. Joined PCGB when I first bought the 964 (which is terribly unfashionable C4 Cab which I adore and have owned for 24 years) and didn’t renew my membership after the first year. Not my kind of people or club. Looking for something that is relaxed, fun, friendly and no “keeping up with the Jones”.

Looking forward to this year with the Drivers Union. Going to be another immense year.

A load of us have already got free days on airfields with tuition included.

Exclusive access to so many events

Free brands hatch tickets and it’s always the best parking places and we’ve been the only club doing display laps

Plus the Membership packs are amazing with the best welcome packs you can imagine

Drivers Union is well worth joining, all different supercars and some great people.
The community within D.U is fantastic, especially the W App groups that have specific catergories created for their members ( Lambo group / Mclaren group / Ferrari group etc).
If you have any issue with you're car / dealer etc, a fellow member will soon be along to help with genuine knowledge and advice.

I've been in a few clubs, including FOC and DU.

Late to the thread, but joining Drivers Union is by far the best choice for you. Huge value for money too.

I have been a member of the FOC club for a couple of years. There is the odd local events which are good
Been a member of SCD for 4 years there is a event every week at least from now till November I would say it’s the best club for getting out in the cars
Also a member of sc-uk and good club for driving
