Ferrari headlight beam conversion

I have searched the WWW 
and Ferrari-chat with no real results so I'll ask on here first.. Here goes.
I want to convert the headlight beams on my 456GT to drive in Europe. I read somewhere that a switch on the back of the headlight housing does this on some Ferrari's. Is this true for the 456? The owners manual gives no clue, and these "stick-on" beam benders don't show where to stick them on the projector type headlights....I'm 
to say the least. Advice / contacts welcome.
