Went to Monza saturday because the track was open for the afternoon.
Some very nice cars attending including:
2 Modenas
996 GT2
993 GT2
996 GT3
2 996 TTs
many Impreza STIs
Mitsu EVO 6
and an awesome red F50

The first session was disappointing, too much traffic on the track.
I waited a while to exit for the second session and I found far better conditions, with very little traffic, so I was able to do some nice clean laps.
At the end of the session as I was returning to the pits with very little brakes left (Monza just eats the std pads), when I saw the F50 (which I was previously told was pushing quite fast) getting into the track.
I immediately said: forget it, I'm staying in!
So I did another 4 laps, with the F50 really charging pretty hard and me with almost no brakes.
The result is that now not only do I have to change the pads but also the discs!
It was worth it...

You can find two videos of this trackday here:
www.macio.org/360monza.htm

And yes, Manu, the videos do have the sound!

Glad you enjoyed it!
I did have a red warning light come on when approaching the rev limiter and in afew other occasions.
During all the laps with the F50 I really had no brakes at all, I had to brake at least 30-50 metres before my usual braking points. It's a shame because my speed in the bends was higher than that of the F50, and without the brake problems it would have been a nice battle.
Sorry it's not possible to hear the sound of the F50, but you actually have to blame Manu for that, since my 360 with the Tubi package was at least 50% louder(that's what everybody at the track told me).
You guys really have to organize a trip here shortly, so that we can all go to Monza and have some fun...
Yes Kev, not only are the front discs thrashed as well as the pads, but also the tyres(esp. rears) don't look too healthy...
