Went to a Ferrari dealer for a look at 360s recently

Thought I'd go offical so that the car will have been treated properly and I would have some combeack/proper warranty etc.

They were very accomodating (apart from jokes about ar5e engined german slot cars ) and allowed my to drive a 360 manual.

What amazed me was that the salesman got in it, fired it up, on a stone cold engine, and then proceeded to bounce it off the limiter repeatedly in order to "warm it up."

WTF???

Needless to say I won't be buying that one.

Well, I can't really flame them on here can I?

Suffice to say you have heard of them........

360 was gorgeous. Am worried about how robust the warranty will be....

Let's be clear. He fired up a stone cold engine, then immediately drove off and HAMMERED it in first, second and third. Well over 100mph 15 seconds after he started it.

I wouldn't treat a hire car like that.

I was really shocked.

No, it wasn't. I did say "blimey, don't you warm them up gently??"

"Don't bother."

Yeah I'll bet, cos when it goes bang you won't have to pay for it.
