Manu, picked this little thing up on the weekend. 44in wheels and even at 6.4" it's a knee to chest job to get up and in. Thinking about changing the colour but white is quite sweet for Miami. Any colour suggestions guys?

At 5.3" she can't get in full stop! I can't be arsed to fit anything on to help out so for argument free motoring I'll be taking out the Jeep. It's still a stretch for me to get in but F* it, only have to put up with it for 2 months a year.

*A single "Florida issue" parking space is fine. Getting out and jumping down is a refreshing change from rolling out and on to the floor from a Ferrari. A nice 4.2 with 200bhp moves this thing pretty well. Last one was 550bhp and it sounded like the world was coming to an abrupt end. Subtle it was not.

You guys think white is the way to go?

That bloody huge sticker on the windscreen had to go. Took the shot before I bought it.

It does turn heads on Ocean drive and nobody F***ks around pulling out in front of you(a refreshing change). Get all the Miami totty asking if they can climb in. It would be bad manners to say no, wouldn't it? Best thing is that it only cost $4995(GBP2950) and all the local big boys in their Mercs get ignored when you roll into town.

Sweet.

Tyres are $300-350 each but they last forever(donuts excluded.

Tried to order every size of sticker last night but my cards are all U.K so I can't get them sent here. Have to pick up the stickers from London on Boxing day so I can truly represent PistonHeads here in Miami.

Believe it or not there are car stickers here that say "I voted BUSH and he's doing a great job". Right next to this another said "Jeb(the brother)keep up the good work". I dropped a gear and stayed way back.

Sorry, it's between 16-22mpg depending on use but I'm sure it can use much more off road. Apparently the previoud owner used it for hunting! I wanted to get it converted to run LPG but I'm not sure where to/if they do it here. Manual too, which makes a bloody change here.

By the way at 6.4 my head comes up to the top of the wing mirror, just.

Nothing else here in Miami...............yet.
Will a shot of me(edited)standing next to it for scale do? As mentioned before I'm 6.4" and with a 35" inside leg measurement the first step is a good way to stretch the old hamstrings

Two reasons why not:

1. There's a stars and stripes Jeep just by my hotel at the moment.

2. The flags of England, France, Brasil(with and S), Jamaica would make more sense for me

Discovered a problem. With the size of the wheels there is no way to fit a spare wheel on the back of the Jeep. Had some sweet ideas for a wheel cover you see.

Going to investigate private plates today. Thinking about going for initials/numbers plus UK(550 UK).

Any ideas, and not BIG ONE before you suggest it.

Two designs with 5 or 6 character options.
Center Design

The license plate number must have three characters to the left and three to the right of the centered graphic design. The range of license plate numbers assigned will consist of 3 alpha/3 numeric or 3 numeric/3 alpha characters.

Left Side Design

The license plate number is limited to 5 digits with one alpha character and four numeric characters.

eer goodnight, ZZZZZZZ

>> Edited by iguana on Tuesday 17th December 02:21

No, it can be 6 letters so LOW SUX is in the running. 360 TOO is a bloody sweet one and it would go down so well here(with everyone flashing it around and all). What about NUF SED, MOV EIT, AWE SUM, FRM GBR,
LON DON, MOD ENA.....?
