Popped down this mng. Shame about the awful weather. I hope the Venturi driver wasn't hurt? His poor car was in pieces. Really bad luck fella

Venturi 400GT was being driven by my brother and had my 14 year old son in the car. Both were unhurt just a bit shaken by the experience. (Thank goodness). As somone put it my brother looked as though he had "just put his foor through the Mona Lisa!" I was in front in the silver diablo and watched the whole thing in my rear view mirror. For reference about the car the Venturi was/Is one of only 14 400GT's and the only right hand drive in existence. The link between Venturi and Lamborghini is that in 1992 the Venturi formula 1 team used lambo V12 engines. Of the 14 cars built there were 2 series 2 cars of which this was one. It was not a converted race car. The car has only done 4,000 miles, was concours in condition and was my pride and joy. (Am gutted). Our thanks for the messages of concern over the accident and the emergency services were outstanding. Sorry to have missed the rest of the day but by the looks of the pictures the whole event was fantastic. (Am going now to open bottle of wine to drown my sorrows!)
Martin,
so sorry for what happened. On the plus side, no one was injured . Any cahnce of car being repaired?
Rgds

anyone have specific pics on Lime green Diablo VT ? If so, pls post up .Thanks
Was it a real 6.0? I overheard a couple of guys talking about it as you were parking up, they were looking carefully at a few of the details. I guess Jonny's our man here.
Cheers m8. Few guys on Lambochat are saying they've never seen one this colour before and that car looks different for some reason....

Has anyone heard about the Venturi driver yet?? Can anyone confirm that he is ok?
Less importantly, how did his car cope with the accident?/ is the 400GT a definate write off??
