Maserati ex Demo mileage

Looking at an ex demo CC with 5500 miles on the clock at around 54k. Spec is ok, no sat nav or phone but just about everything else. Does this sound ok to anyone or is the mileage a bit high on an ex demo - btw are the engines properly run in on these cars or are they knackered by over exuberent test drives?

Personally I would like to order to spec but dealers seem not to be too interested in doing this and I wonder if it is financial suicide anyway. If I do develop suicidal tendencies what kind of discount should I be aiming for?

I presume you say this because the warranty is three years long? Also do you mean lower milage is right or that 49-50k is about right for a car with 5k miles?
