The Thank You topic

Thanks again Craig & team for putting on a most enjoyable event, and putting up with standing around in the sun for many hours for us. We had some interesting runs, although top speeds were definitely lower in the high temperatures.
I've now done one VMAX with an ambient temperature of 0C and today with 32C. Somewhere in the middle of that range would be nice for next time !
Yep, Cheers Craig and guys,
Had a great laugh, cost me a fair bit however it was a real experience.
Thanks to Davey, Gaz, Bill and Steve for the great rides - I think I counted (including mine) a total of about 8 spins in rides and drives
Most cracking ride and thanks goes to David in the simply astounding RUF - thats completely changed my impression on what a FAST car is!!!
Thanks to everyone I saw today for being a great bunch!
Last but not least - thanks for your as ever - great brekkie Corrine!

Thanks to Craig and the rest of the guys runnign the event. Top class as before.
Thanks to Daz for the ride in the porsche so effortless, and also the guy with the silver 360. Just being able to do lap after lap was great.
Lets hope next time you break the 167 barrier.
Hope to have mine finished in time for one later in the year.

Excellent day. Sorry the Noble had to leave at lunchtime but the official verdict is that the bearing in the fuel pump has started to go so I played on the side of prudence. Got home fine, but off to Roush sometime soon to get it looked at.
Thanks to everyone that organised it, and nice to meet so many familiar and new faces.

Thanks again to Craig and all the V Max team for another excellent event. It's always a pleasure, even if I was slower than the last time I ran.
Only a bit of off roading and tyre de-lamination caused an early exit, but I managed to get a clear run home. Hope everyone else got home safe and sound and hopefully without losing too many other bits and pieces of cars.
One of the funniest things I saw was Craigs fast growing collection of V Max memerobelia at the starting 'gantry'.

Thanks to Craig & the team. Another top day.
Also a big thanks for passenger rides - the yellow GT2 Ruf particularly (crap with names, sorry!), your car is awesome. First time in a 911 and first time past 190mph (and 160, 170 and 180!!!). Very cool.
Split intercooler pipe meant only one post-lunch run with boost but it was still fun running round with no power.

I'm assuming that the heat would have taken it's toll on speeds, what was recorded out of interest?
I was in an air-conditioned box at Brands Hatch watching the DTM race, it looked so hot outside that I didn't step outside for about 9 hours! I imagine Brunters must have been pretty oppressive in the heat, given the lack of available shade.........

Well the RUF GT2 definitely saw at least 188 - I was in the other lane ... a loooooong way back.
Have to agree with everyone else a great day - thanks Craig.

190 through the trap on my go with David - however, I'm VERY happy to have witnessed 200mph on his speedo
Craig and crew
Big thank you to a great day and to me felt a lot more relaxed than the last time and something like some of the early vmax back in 2004! Managed 182 on last run so very happy and must be due to the new diverted valves. I achieved the same speed as the frosty run in Nov last year!

I saw 34 on my little doofa in the car at about 2 ish - probably the heat soak from the tarmac.
