Huge thanks to all those that helped organise piston fest. It was great to see so many great cars and talk to so many Great owners. Particular thanks to Owen of race speed for his hospitality and the SELOC hat which saved me any further roasting

I even managed to not upset anyone (possibly, tho sat night is a bit vague).

I'd like to say hello to all that befriended me and, if we didn't speak, I was the bass player in the PH band. Or the guy in black ( or purple ) and shades. And hair. Or the drunk one on saturday night.

Must be done again.

Wonderful day out, great combined event with the dragsters.

Only down side? My daughter decided she wanted an ice cream so off we went....as did the Jet powered funny car.

Stayed until the end to see it go again... only for it to
abort the run a blink before launch

Top cars, top venue and top weather (pass the aftersun please )

Thanks everyone, let's do it again.

A great way to spend a weekend.

Thanks go to Ted & Co for organising it and all the attendees for making it a must do on the Dazren calendar. I look forward to next years PF 2004.

Great to be able to put more faces and characters to PH names. Too many incidents to list but I'll just mention a few things.

Bob The Planner - Thanks for the run in the Tuscan, my first ride in a TVR. Need to get my ears checked, could be tinitus!!

Tony 996 has gone - You sir live up to the name of your car. How dare you turn our civilised drink into alcoholic carnage with drinking games where the loser drinks the spare drink. Henceforth your login should be changed to "Tony Il Diablo".

DTM - Glad you and your fellow bikers enjoyed the ride up. Did you all bugger off early today? I had you pencilled in for a car "ahem" demo.

Hope everyone got home OK.

Top day out, might go for the full weekend next time. Didn't get to meet anyone really, was too busy watching the drag racing and soaking up the rays; maybe next time.

Shame that Isetta hit the barriers, seeing that to a 12sec run would have been cool. The twin Fiats were nifty - must take some driving to harness that power in something so short.

How about the Nationals at Santa Pod for next year? Bit of Top Fuel action would spice things up nicely, and the jet cars savoured from "the Shed" is an experience!

Also it would be great to see some TVR "demo" runs if a RWYB type event wasn't on.

Anyway, off to bed, knackered after all that fresh air and sunshine!

Nice to meet you briefly (I was the guy with the smart) Could you possibly pencil me in for said demo for whenever the next major PH event is?? Never been in a Porsche before, let alone a Turbo X50 .

I was hoping you wouldnt be gone by the time I returned after a few demos in my similarily rear engined, turbo charged monster. Wanted to ask a few questions about that smart chip...

I just want to say thank you to Hannah (Smirfette), Jon (jonk), Ben (Incorrigible), Planetdave and Alec as well as Chris the Drummer and anyone else involved in the PH band 'The Gatzos'. We might not have been The Beatles, and we certainly didn't 'Feel the Noize' in our encore (which i sooooo wish we hadn't done at all!!!) but it was a laugh.

Thanks to the Pissedupfest groupies too... you were very sympathetic

Jon + Andy (Or was it Ally? Bugger...) - Cheers for the BBQ/campfire hybrid! DIGGING A HOLE!!!

The 'Porschia Boxstaaaa' medley had me in stitches - Cheers for that gang!

Overall the weekend was fantastic. Great to meet people, see lovely cars and enjoy such lovely weather.

Cheers Ted et al

Consider yourself pencilled in.

I know someone who reprograms smarts with various stages of conversion upto 84bhp. Do you want me to get him to email you via your profile with his contact details so you can have a chat?
