RE: Ginetta Sunday Service 20/12
Discussion
My only gripe was being told to be there for 8:30 and my group tour not being till 11.40 leaving me standing around like a spanner for 3hrs, but that aside it was free (!) and a very interesting tour.
Even if I could afford a Ginetta I would never ever buy a road car with panel fit like that though!
Thanks for organising.

Great morning as usual. Good to see a northern SS well represented.
That RR SVR is a confusing car. Wondered what was making all the racket and then turned round to see it coming from the RR.

Great way to spend a Sunday morning, both myself and my daughter really enjoyed it. Ginetta did a great job, thankyou PH. Can't wait for the next northern SS ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
We were in the red Masterati parked down the end of the same row. ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Great morning out. Some lovely cars turned out and I enjoyed the atmosphere of being with like minded people. I was in the 997 turbo opposite the main entrance.
I was admiring your car, even got a pic of my daughter stood next to it. I was the one saying 'don't stand so close, don't touch it, careful!' etc ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Great morning out, some really nice metal in the car parks! Thanks to PH and Ginetta for being good hosts and I was amazed at how much there was to see. Also liked that you could take photos of almost anything and sit in a few of the cars.
I have a ton of photos to go through now!
(Whoever owns the black R32 GT-R, it looked incredible

A massive thanks to you folks at PH Towers and all the staff at Ginetta for a cracking Sunday morning. It was nice to attend an event that didn't require an alarm for stupid o clock. I didn't know that much about Ginetta before today but I left feeling rather impressed at the factory. The tour was in depth whilst still being interesting enough for a simpleton like me to understand. Being able to pick up various engine components and compare the weight of carbon fibre panels was fun. There was something just right about the paddle shifter feel on the steering wheels on display too.
Nice to see such a mix of cars in the car park, good ratio of exotic metal and every day cars. The Fiat posted on the previous page was a personal favourite. Got to see a new Type R for the first time too, makes a lot more sense in the flesh and left my EP3 owning mate pondering over a lease. The noise from the SVR was bonkers to hear from a Range Rover. Looking forward to attending more services next year and hopefully there will be another Northern one.

Thanks. Worth washing it yesterday! I love my car, but I know one thing. It won't sound as fruity as yours. Love that Maserati V8.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Good shots, nice to go though with a "oh yes...that was beautiful." That R32 Skyline was a peach, among many many nice cars there. That RR SVR is a confusing car. Wondered what was making all the racket and then turned round to see it coming from the RR.

Thanks to PH and Ginetta for a fantastic morning out (and a fun drive there and back too).
Cheers,
Tom
Great morning out. Didn't know what to expect with it being my first Sunday Service.
Loved the black R32 Skyline parked to the left hand side of the barriers. It looked almost brand new.
The TVR T350 (i think) that arrived about quarter to 9 sounded amazing coming down the road!
Also it was nice to see the Focus Estate sleeper parked outside the front doors. I've been following the build thread and had to have a look for the sneaky exhaust under the bumper to make sure it was that car - very unassuming!

Well, mission accomplished because I completely missed that one! Shame as I would have liked to chat to Chris about itI can only add to the positive comments expressed so far.
Nice run down from Sunderland meeting Frank & Chris in the Chimera. The car was clean when I set off but wet roads made a mess of that.
Well impressed with Ginetta , the staff were very welcoming, knowledgable and motivtated and it was great to learn more about them. Loved the G10 (at least I think it was a g10) and the GRDC is worthy of consideration..
Thanks to PH for arranging a northern SS, let's hope for another sometime in the future
Cheers

What a BRILLIANT morning! We rocked up around 8.00 to be advised we were tour 3. Coffees & nibbles laid on. A talk from James Robinson & Lawrence Tomlinson around 9.30. Our tour at 10.05 with Dan. Fabulous. Several employees around to ask questions. We couldn't believe how involved the tour was. Many many thanks to all concerned.
