Sorry, got stuck into DIY activities I'm afraid - on the plus side, this means I've now uncovered the MIG welder in the depths of the garage, so can fix the GTV exhaust properly.

I got back an hour ago after spending about an hour down there, It was fking cold especially with the half hood on the Westy! I got spattered by a gritter lorry on the way home in too.

Looking forward to warmer meets in daylight.

Good meet everyone, very friendly and welcoming!
My 3yr old lad has just about thawed out, we had the SL's top down all the way home... but he's talking a lot about the 'car party' we went to and very excited about the racing cars. Good effort from Umair for organising and keeping the SLS running all night!

That feller Umair, I was all set for a quiet evening in front of tele, that Umair he made me do it, ok so it was well attended, yes the food was good and met some new people, but why he had to keep that very loud car whatever it was running all night, I couldn't hear a word anyone was saying plus everyone gathered around HIS car with scant regard for mine, and again, not satisfied with forcing me to attend HIS meet he made me sit in HIS car and openly encouraged me to make it even noisier, he's got problems that Umair has, it's unlikely I'll attend any more than 5 or 6 of his meets in future. Some people........

Yes it was cold, but it was nice to get out for a drive (even negotiating average speed cameras on M25 and gritter lorries), meet some like minded petrolheads, 'kick a few tyres', talk car b*****ks and enjoy a splendid feast in a nice venue.

Thanks to Umair for organising. Roll on the summer!

Umair, great first meet mate ; ) really enjoyed catching up with the usual suspects and meeting some new pistonheaders. It was also great to drag the motor out after not driving her for two weeks due to work. Forgot just how much fun she can be lol.

Took the long route home after and the cold night air did wonders : )

Looking forward to the next one.

bingo meant to say hello properly last night but didnt get the chance,it was a good first meet last night im hoping my v8 powered toy will be available for the next one but if not it will be the minor (again) or the mini will be there either way
