I can offer a ride in the slowest car of the day by about 200bhp

Might go round the corners alright though...

Im there as a spectator again I think, but I did say craigw should take the smart for a run - you think your car is slow??

Still, 84mph in the Smart is a helluvalot scarier than 170 in Dazrens TTX50 Its not so much the fact that it starts to bob up and down, more to do with the fact that its wind directed at that speed Still - unbelievably good in the corners for what it is...

Craigw - make it a tenner from me - I owe you from last time!! Fantastic day. Do you want me to email you direct??

Adam, just looked a that link/ read your post. You seemed a nice enough bloke when we met at the last Vmax, but I have to say I hate you.

Where do I join the queue??

Yeah, I started to hate him soon after the last VMAX when he sent me the same link.

Grumble, whinge, moan, wasn't like that in my day, etc.

(Gissa ride Mister...)

A Mate of mine has a race bike 1000cc something or other. Could be interesting for him to bring it along to compare against some of the bigger bhp cars along the runway

I could still come in the Tiiver, I am just a big scaredy cat when it comes to finding my way to places I have not been before.

If anyone else is going from Derby way or even on the M1 I could perhaps meet up at a services somewhere???

No he hasn't, but there is plenty of time before March to sort something out. I need to be more confident that's my problem.

So I will still come, but only as a spectator.

Ah, but Mrs F is in Derbyshire and will be coming down from I'm guessing J24/25 of the M1. We will be coming up from approx J18.

Lisa, all you need to is come off at J20, turn left (first exit) and follow the signs for Bruntingthorpe - maps will ndoubtedly follow in due course.

Its not difficult, really. We can meet up with you somewhere after J20 if you like, for example theres a petrol station you can stop in, then join the convoy.

You'll still hear DeR's car when its in Northamptonshire so you'll get plenty of warning we can swap phone numbers etc nearer the time if you're still up for it.

Cheers,

Greg

No worries - I'd hate you to miss it because you had travel concerns.

PS - you won't be the only lady there - my missus will be taking piccies of anything and everything as per usual. Ask Emm nicely and she'll take you for a spin in the Boxster - not as visceral as James' car but nice all the same

PPS - if you have special dietary requirements, best pack a lunch, unless a good ratburger and chips flicks your switch.

I've been to Bruntingthorpe before, so at least its not totally alien, just that James drove so I wasn't taking any notice where we were going

I will definitely still be coming in the T350 though, that's for sure
