Forgotten how good SSs could be, lots of nice cars but a shame I didn't cotton on to the secret McLaren section. Should have looked round a bit harder I guess.
Did anyone else notice the big drop in temperature around about 11-00? I might be getting old but that was really sudden especially during the day. The drive back was pretty much four seasons in one day too.
Quick hello to the owner of the Saab 9-5 Aero Estate Auto that was on the grid walk. If you check the history of your car and discover that original owner was Bell & Colvill, I think it was one of the demonstrators that I used tocane the nuts off drive very carefully within the full rules of the road when I worked there. I could be wrong but that number plate seems very familiar.
I also the guy driving the silver MX-5 in front of you on the way back through Chilgrove & West Harting.

Thanks PH for the event! It was worth the early morning start. Convoyed most of the way with the Silver CSL and met up with the 1M too, before they left me for dead and the Toyota threw a bit of a wobbly... seems okay now though.
Good selection of cars, I brought my GoPro and SLR.... didn't use either! DOH!
Who were the guys filming at the exit? Would love to see how many people got caught out by the slippery surface entirely by accident....

Another great Sunday Service, as others have said, there is something special about this one. After a long discussion with my seven year old, we have decided that car of the day was the Datsun 240Z.
An amazing assortment of metal(and fibreglass, carbon fibre etc). A special thanks to the kind owner of the DB11 who let me sit in it and generally have a good poke around.
Thanks to all those involved in organising it.

Interesting selection. Were there 700+ cars there as listed? Looked a lot less.
Anyway, good food/coffee from the GF free etc wagon. Makes a change from dead animal burgers etc...
The Lotus caused a bit of confusion as a lot of people haven't seen an Excel before. Next time will see it with a V8 (of course) and double the power!

Just echoing the other comments, but a great morning....thanks for organising PH!
Couldn't have picked a better day for it! Brilliant drive down. Few patches of fog, but made for some great views.
Did anyone else eat too many Flapjacks? My god those were tasty!
P.S.: On the way through one of the villages (forget which one) there is a ruined castle. I spotted an orange Challenger(?)with the owner taking photos as we passed through aroumd 08:20. Was that anyone here? If so, any chance of sharing the pics? Looked absolutely stunning with the fog & sun breaking behind!!

Was it my imagination, or were people leaving earlier than usual? I'm sure that cars were driving out while we queuing for our coffee at just gone nine.
I thought the same.I arrived at maybe 8:40 and there were plenty of cars which were leaving by 9:30... many of which some people have taken photos of, but I didn't see! Lol.
