Hi folks, yes it was a good meet today nice to see a wide selection of cars , I was only there for an hour or so but worth the hour drive ,, this thing about leaving the venue,, I cant see any harm in giving it a bit of a rev pulling away , given the surroundings (sunday on an industial estate), i did , but i do see that giving it the beans and drifting around a roundabout is a bit extreme , but I dont think there was anyone there that didnt want to hear a bit of an enthusiastic exit judging by the 30+ people standing on the grass bank , having said that if its controlled and not in the town centre or in the car park i dont see a problem if done in a non-hooligan manner , we all drive performance cars and we all love to hear them too !! anyway congratulations PH on a good meeting and thankyou to all the volunteers too ,, marc ....CSL
Hi guys
My first event today, brought my son along and we both had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Thanks to all who were kind enough to talk to my son about their cars, especially the morgan owner who let him have his picture taken siting in side the car.
Look forward to attending the next event and seeing you all again.

A few of my photos from the meet today. There are a handful more in the full set here and I've got a few more to process and upload later in the week!

My first meet too. Some nice machines to drool over, however must hold my hands up...I am the driver of the splattered Alpina D3, just to clarify it was gleaming when I finished cleaning it at 22:30 Saturday night. One trip to Bracknell from Coventry and hey presto it turned into a D3 Fly-Turbo! Thanks to all the guys at PH didnt really chat to many people though hopefully will meet up again with you all soon.

Got to say the F1 was just epic.
It did somewhat steal the show I thought... detchibe said:
to the Griffith driver I stalked from the M25!
I picked you guys up, coming off the M4... Somehow, I just _knew_ where you were going! M
Balls. I live nearby and was driving the opposite way down the A322 to the M3 this morning, spotting the top half of an F1 GTR (my first sighting of one in the metal and my favourite supercar since day one) above the central reservation, followed shortly thereafter by a couple of Ultimas. By the time my sleep- & caffeine-deprived brain put a few 2s together and came up with half a dozen I was heading the wrong way up the M3. Muppet.
Note to self - stop working on Sundays, you miss cool stuff like this event.

Woo! Mine! It was an excellent day out, as per all PH Sunday Service meets! Thanks to Garlick, BMW and all who helped make the day what it was I was gutted I missed the McLaren F1, but there were lots of other cars that were ready to be drooled over!
Hopefully I'll be at the next one, providing it is close by ...

The White GTR owner was most obvious to me as his car was noisiest and he did go round the 'circuit' a good 4 times.
Heard it going round and sadly only saw glimpses of it taking off like nothing I've seen before (on the road). One of the highlights for me personally... that and the Ultima GTR which I've been wanting to see in the flesh for years. Like 'James I didn't know anyone but will be more sociable in future events probably with wife & boy in tow- hopefully in the CerbyThankyou for a good morning!
