Asssuming, Andy, you're referring to my front end damage, no, it's due to be repaired at the end of August. I'm pretty sure (from memory) I have you're e-mail thumbup

ITN files will be sent out during the week before the run.

Heard about this the other day, I'm in, said yes as soon as I was told. See you guys then!
Hi mate, welcome to the site, have you sent your details to the run e-mail address yet?

I see this is your first post - please excuse me if this comes across as condescending in any way, I just want to make sure you're aware that in PH we don't condone dangerous or reckless driving, and that this drive is meant to be enjoyable rather than frantic - I'm sure others on here will echo my comments.

As I already stated, I haven't in any way meant to sound offensive, I just want to make sure you're fully clued up with what this is about - I hope you understand....

Welcome to PH, and long may you be here!

Details of exact times, locations and routes will be e-mailed out to everyone who has sent their entry details (including real name, ph name, car, contact number and e-mail address) to kentrun07@hotmail.com

These will be e-mailed out probably before Wednesday this week. Suffice, for now, to say that we will be starting very early in the vicinity of Wrotham and finishing in the vicinity of Sevenoaks.

Cheers all.

Jay

Hi all, just a quick note to all who've e-mailed asking about exact details - I will post on here when I've sent them out.

To make this run smoothly, anyone who hasn't yet sent their details to kentrun07@hotmail.com , please do so ASAP including phone number and real name. If you have, but haven't heard back from me, don't worry - you're not alone!

Much appreciated,

Jay

Jay,

(Off topic)

Have you seen an L reg Red Ferrari 355B in Kings Hill before?
Went for a drive in the Sag around there and had a 'spirited' drive with him, just wondered if he's a PH'er or even coming on the kent-run?

Lee
I haven't had that pleasure - if either of us see him again, be sure to stop and invite!

Hi all

I too have noticed the weather reports and would like to sugest the following -

IF IT RAINS ON SUNDAY any plucky (loony) people that want to go ahead and do it anyway can.

IF IT RAINS ON SUNDAY I would be more than happy to do it next week as well (or until there is a weekend with guaranteed sun)

What say ye?

By the way, I'm currently finalising everything, I hope to have all details sorted and sent out out before the end of the working day today. Can I please remind everyone that there is a reason why you have signed up for this event and I don't want precise details being leaked onto a public forum in case we get gatecrashed by the wrong sort, and I don't just mean the wrong sort of car - I'd appreciate respectable driving, this is not a yob rally. Unfortunately, I have to say these things because I have seen it happen before (Sierra drivers ragging their cars around trying to show off to Lambo and Ferrari owners)

Cheers all,

Jay

PS Jamie - cheers for the offer mate, and yes I have your details thumbup

That's precisely it - I won't. At this stage and with a list this size it would be too difficult to contact absolutely everyone with a last muinute call and expect them to all follow suit at such short notice.

I'll turn up whether it rains or not and see if anyone else wants to, even if it means I turn up and sit around for half an hour on my own before heading home for bed. If people would rather wait for the next dry Sunday, that's fine with me and I will do it again then too. I can't be any fairer really...

Hi everyone, I haven't got the TOMTOM files finished properly yet, I'll get them out tomorrow.

For those who happen to be here this evening, this link takes you to the written directions, which I will leave up here for a fwe minutes. I'll do a proper mail out tomorrow but right now I'm shattered.

Cheers,

Sleepy Jay

Bah! I've only just noticed this topic at the last moment ... I guess it is too late for me to sign up? However to echo the comments of others, if it does rain on Sunday then I'd be up for the following weekend. Wet roads are a little scary and it would be nice to have the roof off and enjoy the hoon properly thumbup

the link you originally put up said 40 miles...or was the just from the start point to the services on leg 1?
40 miles the first section, 60 the second, 90 the third (approximate values)

You realise there were 4 pages on there, right?

Fingers very crossed!

Just like to say to anybody feeling queasy at the start time - last time round we ran this at about the same sort of time, perhaps half an hour later, and I got overwhelmingly positive feedback about it - no traffic that way. With the extra bits I've stuck on, a start time of 6 at the latest is really just about as late as I can push it.

Anyone unable to make the proposed start time is welcome to wait at the first stop (read the directions sheet) about half hour to 45 minutes later and tag along to any groups that turn up. Likewise for the second stop, which would be about 2 hours after the proposed initial start time.

Thanks,

Jay
